Manu POV:
I left to the guest room to get ready.I took a quick shower and dressed into an orange and pink colour long khali dress which has thick gold border and white stone work,which I bought for Riya's engagement.I matched it with same colour bangles and ear rings.
At 9:00 am we all reached the function hall.I and Riya sat in one of the rooms.
Riya is mad at selfies,she started clicking photos with different expressions.we both clicked some selfies.After 30:00 minutes Jai's family entered the function hall.
Soon engagement started and it is going smoothly. Many people giving their warm wishes to them and Riya's mother in-law is occasionally introducing her to few guests.Riya is smiling at them and wishing them back.Jai is smirking at Riya all the time.
Uncle and aunty happily talking to the guests.I received some of our colleague's and made them seated in the chairs.Jai's friends also wishing them and taking photos with them to save this memories.
I am really happy for Riya. At first I thought that their love is just attraction.After meeting Jai I changed my mind.Jai is really a nice guy.He is very sincere and he cares for Riya alot.So I convinced uncle for their marriage.
As I lost in my own thoughts I didn't noticed the steps and I tumbled back.I was gonna fall on my back. I closed my eyes to avoid pain.
But on time an arm caught me.It's like how it used to happen in movies.
I opened my eyes and looked at the person. My black eyes met with his brown eyes.He wore a white shirt and he is looking into my eyes.His eyes are very mesmerizing.He waved his right hand infront of my eyes while his left hand placed around my waist to save me from hitting the ground.I quickly straighten myself.
"Be careful every time I am not here to caught you"he said.
I looked at him with a blank expression and turned back to move from there.
Suddenly I felt someone holding my hand.I turned back to look at the person.It is the same man who caught me.
Again my black eyes met with his brown. "Hey!I helped you but you didn't say thanks to me"he said.
"If you didn't caught me then someone else will do that"First leave my hand I said with an irritated voice.
"Why are you so rude"he said with a confused look. Without answering him I hardly pulled my hand back and started moving from there.
