In the back of Taehyung's room was a fireplace, the sound of wood crackling in the fire being the only source of sound at the moment. His living room was still as Taehyung took another long sip from his mug of hot chocolate. He sighs, before his long and slender fingers reach for the strings on the guitar again, strumming it lightly.
If Taehyung were to remember something about dating Yeonah, it was how he used to lift Yeonah's spirits up every time she was feeling dejected. They used to sit on her bedroom floor together, Taehyung's soft and husky voice singing beautiful melodies that he would write on his own. He'd remember how Yeonah would sway her head along with the tune before cutely attempting to sing the songs herself.
It is no surprise that Taehyung would choose those moments to be his favorite part of their relationship. Quiet and warm nights on the bedroom floor with the one person he loved the most, he really couldn't ask for anything else.
So, there he was, on the couch of his living room, writing a melody for the person he loved. It doesn't take him long as he begins to remember a tune, lightly strumming his guitar. Taehyung had written a song, specially for Yeonah for her birthday a year ago. But unfortunately, before he could deliver the song to her, they broke things off.
What better reason than to bring it back now, right? A few hours passes by fairly quickly and before he knew it, Taehyung was done with the song. He picks up the paper that he had left idly on the coffee table. Numerous phrases had filled the paper, with endless cancellations and doodles. But finally, he had finalized the lyrics and the tune and most of all, he was ready to present it to Yeonah.
