Part. 29 Army Of Me

I summon my wings and admire their beauty. The grey looks darker then usual, almost black. I shake my head to rid the thoughts.

I could never become Fallen again. It must just be because it's dark.

I hear foot steps coming from the stair case. Quickly I move over to a window; just in case.

Yukiko?

"Master! Come on we have to go!" She shouts, reaching for my hand. I follow her without saying a word.  My wings scrape against the walls of the narrow hallway.

Ouch.

"Master, Put your wings away. you'll hurt yourself." Yukiko says with concern. I say nothing and do nothing, nothing but follow her down the hallway. she stops. "Master. You need to put them away. I don't want to see you hurt yourself." Yukiko says.  I look down at my feet and nod slowly. My wings fade into a cloud of feathers that blow down the hall. They disappear as if they were never there. "Thank you." She says, smiling faintly.

Well, at least someones happy.

I think to myself.

I spot a figure going up the stairs. After a while, the person appears in plain sight, Guardian.

Not now.

"Yukiko, we need to run." I whisper to her.
"What? Why?" She asks. Her voice attracts his attention. His eyes widen in realization of my escape.
"Run Yukiko!" I shout pulling her by the arm back to the window.
"What are we doing?" Yukiko asks.
"you'll see." I say. taking her in my arms and with a leap out the window, My wings extend and we take flight.
"Master! What's going on!?" Yukiko yells over the sound of the wind.
"Guardian was behind us! We needed to get out of there." I explain. As we make a landing, we find ourselves in the middle of a battle.
"What... has been happening?" I ask Yukiko.
"We would do anything to bring you home safe. So we Summoned the Demon and Angel Army. We're going to end this." She says.

'End' Does that mean... I'll finally be safe?

"Master! Be careful!" Yukiko yells, Shoving me out of the way of a charging Fallen.

Right! It's not over yet Setsuna. It's only just begun.

"I have to leave. I must defeat Guardian." I say to yukiko. She yells at me but I cannot hear her so I fly back up the the tower, to face him.

It's time.

I land on the ledge I lept off of. Guardian not moving, stares me down.
"Finally decided to bow down? Or come to fight?" He asks.
"Guardian. I've come to end this, for good." I state.
"How? You know no magic." He says.
"Ha. That's what you think." I say.

He's right... well I know a bit, but.

"Yes. I do think that. But if you think you have something to prove, let's see what you've got?"
He says cheekily.

Levitation.
Water.
Those are the only two thing Haruki taught me but... maybe if I can cast them on a much larger scale.

I stare at guardian intensely. Mumbling the incantation under my breath he seams to freeze.

Did it work?

His face begins to look worried.
"Perhaps I underestimated you." He says twitching.

No! It's not enough.

His arms freely move now. Kou marches up the stairs breaking my concentration. Guardian now fully able to move swiftly moves towards Kou.
"Kou!" I shout reaching out as if I could grab him.
The next thing I see is Guardians hand going through Kou's stomach. Blood gushes out of Kou's mouth but Guardian doesn't let go of him just yet.
He takes his chin and softly presses his lips against Kou's.
"Good luck reviving him after 'Death's kiss," Guardian states while dropping Kou to the ground.
"KOU!" I run towards him but am stopped by Guardian.
