Chapter 46

Annie's pov;

I walk into the gym ready for my mock meet, Arden runs over and gives me a hug, we both see Katie and I roll my eyes. But she looks sad and it makes me feel bad. I realize that I've been in her shoes before, I had no one. But I remember that she did this to herself, she was the one who started hating me. She walks over and I turn the other way and walk over near the bathroom. "Annie!" She grabs my shoulder, before I can to say anything she starts talking. "Annie I'm sorry, you're my best friend ever, your like my sister, and I don't know what got into me, I guess I just thought that because everyone liked liv so much it was my chance to be friends with her. But I didn't realize what I was doing until later on, I ruined the best friendship I ever had and if you don't want to you never have to forgive me, because I would understand. I hurt you badly and left you with no one and I feel awful for it, liv is bad news and your good news, so please please please forgive me" she begins crying. I pull her into a tight hug and tell her it will all be okay and that I forgive her. Arden joins us in a big group hug, but before long it's time to compete. First is beam and Katie climbs up to go, her routine is going perfect until she falls on her back handspring layout step out, me and Arden cheer her on and the rest of her routine is perfect. She walks over and I tear rolls down her cheek, I pull her into a tight hug and tell her it's ok, hoping she will still qualify. Next is Arden, her whole routine is perfect except a couple of wobbles, it's time for her dismount but she falls on her back. She get up and salutes and then limps over to us. "I think I rolled my ankle" she says as she sits down and coach Mary hands her some ice. Now it's my turn, I do my front tuck mount into the beam and begin my routine, landing all my skills perfectly, no wobbles. I haven't fully gotten my dismount yet without stepping out. So I'm very surprised when I stick the landing, I run over and Katie tackles me in a hug, Arden air hugs me because of her ankle. Our scores show up on the board,

Katie and Arden laugh at the fact that they have the same score, and they both yell and cheer for me, I'm so happy with my score and coach Mary gives me a big hug.

I smile at my friends thinking to myself that my life couldn't be much better right now.
