"What's going on?" Rose asked from next to me

"It's the ear-pods. Lumic's taking control,"

"Can't we just...I dunno, take them off?" Rose reached up to one man, but the Doctor stopped her

"Don't! Cause a brainstorm. Human Race, for such an intelligent lot, you aren't half susceptible. Give anyone a chance to take control and you submit. Sometimes I think you like it. Easy life,"

I hit him upside the head "I resent that,"

"Hey." we turned to look at Dean "Would you two quit flirting and come and see this,"

"Even parallel him, nothing's changed," I huffed. We looked around the corner, watching as a row of Cybermen marched alongside the people under the control of the ear-pods "Where are they all going?"

"I don't know. Lumic must have a base of operation,"

"Battersea." Sam stated "That's where he was building his prototypes,"

"Why's he doing it?"

"He's dying." Pete replied "This all started out as a way of life by keeping the brain alive. At any cost,"

Rose turned to the Doctor "The thing is, I've seen Cybermen before, haven't I? That head, those handle shapes in Van Statten's museum,"

"Ah, there are Cybermen in our universe. They started on an ordinary world just like this, then swarmed across the galaxy. This lot are a parallel version, and they're starting from scratch right here on earth,"

"What the hell are you on about?" Pete questioned

"Never mind that. Come on, we need to get out of the City. Okay, split up, Mrs Morre, you look after that bloke. Jake and Dean, distract them, go right, I'll go left, we'll meet back at Bridge Street. Move,"

Mickey looked at Rose "I'm going with him," he kissed Rose and quickly followed Ricky

I stopped Dean "You better come back as well or so help me I'll have Castiel drag you back so I can kill you myself,"

He smirked only to frown "Who's Cas?"

"Come on, let's go," Mrs. Moore shouted at me and I ran in the opposite direction of Dean as Cybermen followed "There!" we ran down a side alley, the Doctor quickly pulling me behind a pile of rubbish and dustbins. The Cybermen stopped in front of us, I reached for my gun, but the Doctor stopped me as he pointed his sonic screwdriver and they went on their way.

"Go!" he whispered, I wanted to tell him to let go of my hand, but at the same time I didn't. From the corner of my eye I saw Sam smirk and rolled my eyes as we reached the meeting point. Jake and Dean were the first ones to meet us and I let go of the Doctor to hug Dean.

"We ran past the river. You should've seen it, the whole City's on the watch. Hundreds of Cybermen all down the Thames," Jake explained, we all turned when we saw someone run up the street

"Here he is!" but I could tell as the guy's face fell "Which one are you?"

"Jake..." but Dean stopped me, shaking his head

"I'm sorry. The Cybermen. He couldn't..."

"Are you Ricky? ARE YOU RICKY?"

Rose turned towards me and I nodded "Mickey, that's you isn't it?"

"Yeah," Rose ran to him and hugged him "He tried. He was running...There was too many of them,"

"Shut it," Jake spat as his face contorted with pain
