We just not got the feeling that we're meeting for the first time

Examining my surroundings I wondered what I was even doing here. I didn't even enjoy watching football, so I'm not really sure how I became convinced to come to the Eagles season finale in Philadelphia.

Looking around the stadium they had banners hanging of players, some of the names I recognized, other names were completely foreign to me. Then name I continued hearing all throughout the game was Carson Wentz. He was the quarterback and everyone in Philadelphia was madly in love with the young player.

"Earth to Tenneh?" My friend Elise said as she wove a hand in front of my face. My mind jumped back to reality.

"What?" I ask.

"What are you thinking about?" she asks, her eyes look at my with concern.

"I'm wondering why we are still at the stadium when the game ended nearly an hour and a half ago," I say sarcastically.

"Tenneh! I told you that 12000 times already! I want to get a picture with some of the players," Elise defends herself.

"Don't you think they will find it kind of stalkers considering that this whole stadium is completely empty?!" I contest.

"Oh shut up! I think they will view me as a dedicated fan..." she trails off. I continue looking around the stadium, there are pictures of Eagles and fans everywhere too. Then I look to see all of the people that are passing by... none of them are players. Just custodians and other workers for the stadium.

I turn my head around to find something new to look at, and I instantly find it. A tall man turns the corner. Muscular and very in shape. His hair was red and his body well dressed. He walked with confidence and poise and I couldn't help but stare at him.

"Tenneh what are you looking-?"Elise stops talking once she follows my gaze. "OMG! That's Carson Wentz!"

So this gorgeous man was the rookie that all of Philadelphia was in love with. He was much better looking than I ever could have imagined. During the game I only got to see him with a helmet on, but I liked this view a lot better. His walk continued towards us.

"I need to stop him," Elise whispered. My mouth was suddenly dry and I couldn't form words. This man completely took my breath away. "Carson! Can we get a picture?" Elise calls him over. And then he looks at me. His eyes meet mine and a chill fills my whole body. I smile at him, thankful this wan't one of the fake smiles. He made me smile real and bright.

"Sure!" his deep voice said as his luscious blue eyes looked to me and then quickly looked away sheepishly.

"Everyone squeeze in!" Elise instructed as she pulled her phone out from her Eagles colored purse. In an attempt to squeeze into the picture Carson's hand wrapped around my back to pull me closer to Elise, and him. His skin against mine sent a chilling sensation down my back that I didn't want to end anytime soon. "Perfect! Thanks so much Carson. You had a great year!" Elise assured him. "Tenneh, I'm going to go this way to try and find more players. I'll meet you in a little bit," she said running down the corridor.

"She is gong to be pretty disappointed when she finds out they all went out the other door," Carson says quietly. I laugh at my friends desperate approach to get noticed. "That laugh was beautiful."

I can feel my cheeks burning with color. Taking compliments was never my strong point and hearing it from someone of his status was making it even harder to understand. "Oh! Thank you.." I stammer out. "I'm Tenneh," I hold my hand out for him to shake. He takes my hand in his and mine is immediately swallowed by his much larger one.

"Carson. Nice to meet you. Did you enjoy the game?" he asks.

"I'm going to be honest with you... I don't really know much about football. This was my first game.. and I'm enjoying this part way more," I smile while twisting my foot into the ground.

"ahaha.I'd love to teach you more about football sometime. I happen to know a lot about it. Because if we are being honest, I find your beauty mesmerizing and when I saw you I was hoping there would be a way for us to talk. So would you like to go to dinner with me sometime?" Carson asks. I bite my lip to try and hide the smile that is plastered on my face but it's no use.

"I would love to get dinner with you sometime. If I'm going to keep coming to Eagles games I had better learn at least a little bit about the sport," I say.

"Great! Let me get your number.." Carson says. I reach for my phone and place it in his large quarterbacking hand. He presses a few buttons and hands it back to me.

"Nice meeting you Tenneh! I most definitely hope to see you soon!" Carson says as he turns to continue walking out of the stadium.

So maybe the football game wasn't my favorite thing, but the stadium did have a lot of pretty views.
