Louraine
"Welcome back Louraine!" Yakap sa akin ni Hazel nang makita niya agad ako. Napangiti naman ako agad dahil sa salubong niya.
"Oh my gosh, buntis ka?" Ani ko at nahihiya siyang ngumiti. "Pano mo nalaman?" Tanong niya.
"I felt that little bump. Congrats! Sorry talaga kung bigla akong nawala. Sorry din dahil di ako naka attend ng kasal niyo 3 months ago." I apologized.
I mean, she's my only girl bestfriend pero ni hindi ako pumunta sa kasal niya dahil...busy ako. Right. I am busy that time.
"Nah, it's fine. I know it's not easy for you too. Buti at nakarecover ang hita mo." She said. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.
"Kanino mo nalaman?" I asked.
"Kay Yue. Anyways, let's go at naghihintay na ang Montesalve Brothers sayo. Miss na miss ka nila." She chuckled. "Hoy Luke, kunin mo tong nga gamit niya." Utos niya sa asawa na binati lamang ako sa pamamagitan ng pagtango.

"I'm just curious but...how's life when I was not here?" I asked as she smiled and looked at her wedding ring on her finger.
"I woke up, gladly. After I recovered, bumalik ako sa pag-aaral. It's my last year in college when Luke proposed to me, in their graduation day, infront of those students, at the stage. I can say that I'm really a lucky girl to have him." Kwento niya habang mukhang inaaalala ang nangyari. Napangiti naman ako.
"It's not easy especially because he started working and I'm studying. We're both busy. We got into a fight and ignored each other but in the end, naitali din kami sa isa't isa." Tumawa siya ng mahina at tinignan ako.
"How about you? What happened there? Ni hindi tayo nakapag contact." She asked me at napangiti naman ako.
"Well, life there was hard especially because I have to adjust with the weather. I got my therapy for about..one and a half year before I started walking again. Ian helped me and some friends. I got promoted and was sent here to manage the cafe here in the Phil." Kwento ko naman at sakto ay dumating ang inorder niyang pagkain.
We started eating and talking, trying to catch up with the years that we' lost. But it's so odd that she's not bringing any topic regarding Yuean.
Whar really happened? Talaga bang nagka amnesia siya? Why? Anong aksidente? Nakarecover na kaya talaga siya? Pero bakit nakita ko siya bago ako umalis sa US na mukhang galit sa akin?
But the real question is...why do I care?
I mean, I don't care. I'm just curious. Tama. Wala na akong pakielam sakaniya.
Halos mapatalon ako sa upuan ko ng may marinig akong sumigaw.
"Cupcaaaaake." Aniya at nagulat nalang ako dahil yakap yakap na ako nila Syc, Hyde at Charles. Muntikan pa akong maiyak, ewan, namiss ko talaga sila.
"Namiss ka namin baby sis. Sabi mo ikaw ang baby sister namin pero bigla bigla kang umalis." Sabi ni Hyde.
"We got angry at first but when we knew why you left, we understood. How are you? Kamusta ka na?" Ani naman ni Syc.
"Where are the cupcakes? I miss your cupcakesss." Tanging ani ni Charles at kinulit kulit siya.
"I really missed you all. God, ang babaw ko." Ani ko at pinunasan ang luha ko.
"At dahil nandito ka, let's celebrate!" Ani ni Charles.
"Yeah. But I need to got to the hotel first to drop my things and rest. Mamayang gabi nalang tayo magcelebrate. I'm a bit tired because of all the travelling." I said. Napatango tango naman sila.
"Call us when you need anything. I'll text you the name of the bar later. Ingat!" Ani ni Hazel bago ko maisara ang pinto ng kotse nila.
"Salamat Hazel." Ani ko at bumaba na.
Nang makapasok sa hotel ay agad akong dumiretso sa hotel room. I unpacked some of my clothes because I still need to find an apartment. I can't stay here for months.
As I unpack my things, I dropped a necklace. Agad ko iyong pinulot at nang makita ko iyon ay halos hindi ko maipaliwanag ang nararamdaman ko.
It was the necklace, Yuean got me before. It's simple yet elegant with its cupcake pendant. Looking at it again, I can't help to reminisce about the good times.
But don't forget about what he did Louraine. Stop being curious because curiosity is a bad..bad thing.
I went to the bathroom to take a bath. After drying my hair, I drifted to sleep with Yuean in my mind.
Shit, bakit siya padin ang nasa isip mo Louraine?

"Cheers!" Sabay sabay naming sigaw at ininom ang kaniya kaniyang drinks. Hazel only got juice because she's preggy. We're in a VIP room so Hazel's safe with smoke.
"You look prettier now. May boyfriend ka na ba?" Tanong ni Hyde at tinaas baba ang kilay niya.
"Yeah. I'm sure guys pile up just to be your boyfriend." Pag sang ayon naman ni Syc.
"If only I don't think of you as a sister, baka niligawan na kita." Charles joked at natawa naman kaming lahat. "You're such a sweet-talker Charles." I told him.
We had a few drinks before I became tipsy. Hindi ako sanay uminom dahil hindi naman talaga ako nainom. Unti unting umikot ang paligid ko. Ugh, please.
"CR lang ako." Paalam ko at nagpatuloy sila sa pag-inom. Hazel and Luke went home already because it's already 12 am, I guess.
Nahirapan pa akong maglakad patungong CR dahil sobrang hilo ko na. After doing my business there, I bid my goodbyes to them. They didn't respond tho dahil mga bagsak na din sila.
Nahirapan pa akong umalis doon dahil sa dami ng tao na nasayaw. I became a part of them when I danced to the music. I didn't know how I did it, I'm not much of a dancer but I just followed the rhythm. My heart was beating so fast especially when someone danced behind me.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero parang pamilyar ang pakiramdam na iyon. I liked it more when he held me by my waist.
What the hell Louraine. Get out of there.
I was about to free from his grip when a warm soft lips covered mine. Nababaliw na ata talaga ako dahil agad ko iyong tinugunan. However, his kisses are familiar. He started kissing me slowly until he became more aggressive. Due to alchohol, I just followed his lead. Bahala na bukas. All I feel right now is this tingly feeling in my stomach everytime he caresses my waist.
"Yuean..." Wala sa sariling ani ko. It's really familiar. It feels like...3 years ago.
"I missed you." I cried and lean on his hard chest. I felt him sigh as I float in the air.
"Let's get you home cupcake." I heard the stranger say before I pass out.
