AHHHHHHH.

OH MY GOD.

I'M SOBBING.

THAT'S IT GUYS.

TYRANT TALE IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE.

OH MY GOD SOMEONE TAKE ME TO A HOSPITAL I CAN'T BREATHE.

*cue speech*

Writing this story has been an amazing experience. At first, it was just a tiny idea I got while I was in the car on the ride home.

'What if Asriel never died after he brought Chara to the surface?'

And every idea that followed after.

I'm telling you that it's been a lot of fun, but mostly it was because of my readers. Everytime I tried to write a chapter, and it was completely short and crap, my readers would assure me that it was fine, and that the length of the chapter didn't define the quality.

And that really, really kept me going.

Writer's Block has been such a huge wall for me to try and pave. Everytime I started writing a chapter, my mind would just go blank. But once I get set on an idea, just one, simple idea, that's when my fingers dance on the keyboard.

I appreciate all the amazing support from my friends, my wattpad besties, and my readers.

Every single one of you ARE AMAZING. I would NEVER have gotten this far without my readers, I can assure you that.

Your comments gave me hope, gave me inspiration to continue writing Frisk's story.

So thank you. I'm so grateful for all of you.

Now to clear up some questions/confusion.

-

1. Sequel

NO, I will not be writing a sequel. The last bit of the epilogue was there to have the reader decide the fate of the next human who falls in the underground. That was the whole point of the epilogue.

2. What happened to the ship?

Even though it says it in the desc that it was a FRISK X ASRIEL STORY, it was. Asriel had simultaneously developed feelings for Frisk while they were both together, even in that short amount of time. I didn't want to overdo it too much, instead I wanted to focus more on Frisk finding out about Asriel's background. I've seen stories where there isn't really any plot at all, and it constantly just involves the couple... doing mushy stuff. I didn't want to end up doing the same, and make readers read just for the mush.

With this story, I wanted it to be light. Think about it, Frisk was the only human that had ever met Asriel. The only human Asriel had ever loved was Chara, and he loved her in a sisterly way.

Did you think that he'd be all over Frisk the moment he laid eyes on her?

The only human Asriel has ever encountered was Chara.

He treated Chara like his own sister, and when she died he had the thought that all humans would do the same. Make them love you, and then leave.

Why do you think he was so harsh to her?

But as time passed, he eventually warmed up to her, making him believe that not all humans were bad. (Though Chara made sure to wipe that thought away from his mind immediately.)

3. The Ending

YES. THE ENDING WAS SAD.

I SOBBED.

Frisk made a lot of promises. After every promise that she made, notice how I made her think How foolish' or, 'Why am I making another promise I probably can't keep?'

Because it was true. Even the most truthful and trustworthy person can break a promise if it reaches out of their limit.

It gave them hope, at least.

Frisk made them feel hope again.

5. What happened to Toriel and the others?

That's up for you to decide. Think as Chara. What would she have done after killing Frisk?

6. Sans' Page Time

Yep.

Sans had only little participation in this story. It was purely to lessen the hype about him, because we all know how in the game, Sans is a little paranoid about protecting Papyrus, right? And he goes batshit in the Genocide Run? Well in this AU, to keep that from happening, Sans IS ALWAYS keeping Papyrus safe, away from outside, away from the guards, and especially away from King Asriel.

(Cough cough He's also too busy protecting Papyrus than to care about timelines cough cough)

He figured that his brother was probably MORE important than a skeptical human like Frisk who just entered Snowdin.

And we all know what happened to the previous humans, so who says this one won't be any different?

7. Regarding Chapter 20

THOSE WERE CHARA'S MEMORIES WHEN SHE WAS STILL ALIVE AND COULD RESET.

Also, you may find a similar line in Chapter 20, and Chapter 49.

And that concludes our clear up.

Tomorrow, I think I'm going to edit my chapters, so if you recieve a notification that I updated Chapter 1 please ignore it.
