Valentines Day.
Couples are one of the many reasons why I hate relationships. The public display of affection that couples do in public is just too gross. Like keep your tongue out of each other's throats please.
Also today being the Valentine's Day, people will go crazy. Couples will be found making out anywhere and everywhere.
I have never been very fond of couples. Because the last relationship that I was in, didn't end up well. I don't even want to have a relationship due to the fact that it always ends bad.
Mom and Dad always used to fight with each other. After 27 years of successful marriage, they got divorced. It still breaks my heart to see them like this.
Relationship make you weaker rather than stronger. They break your heart into millions of pieces and then leave you to suffer alone.
It is so hard to go and live at mom and dad's place throughout the whole year. It's like changing countries every 6 months. I got tired of it and just moved to my grandmother's house.
Grandmother is really sweet and she takes really good care of me. Even though she is also really sad that mom and dad got a divorce.
I was hoping for today to be different. I wanted today to be like no other day I have ever encountered.
I want today to be peaceful and calm. I don't want to hear mom and dad fight over the phone. Today I will take grandma to the movies and we will have fun.
As I was going to get more groceries I saw a couple making out in the dairy products section. I tried to get past them and take out a gallon of milk but they were blocking my way.
"Excuse me," I started but they didn't seem to hear me.
"Excuse me?" I repeated but they didn't listen because they were too busy sucking each other's face.
"Ugh! Excuse me," I said last time as I pulled them apart and took a gallon of milk.
"What the heck?" The girl muttered as she pulled the guy towards him and started kissing him, hungrily.
The guy looked at me for a second and winked. Ignoring him, I moved to other sections and took everything I needed.
Just as I took everything I needed from the store, I headed towards the cashier to checkout. There was a long line. I saw many people buying different types of flowers and chocolates. After few minutes she called me up.
She started scanning the items and I looked over my shoulder and saw a man talking to a women who was holding a baby.
The man's face was structured nicely. His chiseled jaw was sharp making him look handsome. He had brown hair which were combed nicely and had green eyes with a hint of grey. He was quite tall and wore a three piece Armani suit.
I didn't know since how long I was staring at him but he looked right at me and I had to look away. I was embarrassed. What would he think of me?
I didn't even know him but something about him was attracting.
He is a man and all they know what to do is to break hearts and leave you alone to suffer.
When I turned to the cashier she gave me a look which I didn't understand. "59 pounds," she said as I took out my credit card and swiped it. "Thank you, have a lovely day," she said as she handed me all the bags.
