As I opened my cabin's door, I heard something break and just after a little bit, lavender's smell roamed all over the office. I turned around to see Rhea knocking down one of the room fresheners. She apologized to Mr. Smith but he always gave her tough time.
He loved picking on Rhea just because she was clumsy. She would knock down at least something everyday. If she doesn't then that's a miracle because there hasn't passed a single day when she hasn't knocked off something.
"So I heard you got the tender," she spoke formally. I looked up to her and nodded. She didn't react as if it was just a normal thing but just as I looked down she ran and pulled me into a hug. "Congratulations."
I took a step back from how she moved towards me. I hugged her back and thanked her. She pulled out of the hug and threw her arms around my neck.
"You and Chase are going to Paris tomorrow, and my fans want to know how does it feel," she asked, holding her hand closest to my mouth which was suppose to be a mic.
"Well I am very sorry to disappoint your fans but I will not be going with him tomorrow," I spoke into the fake mic.
Suddenly her fake mic wasn't there. Her hands dropped by her side as she made a mad face. "What?" She asked in disbelief.
Well I can't choose the deal over dad's wedding so whatever anyone says, I won't change my answer. Anyways Chase did most of the work so he should definitely be there and they can send Rhea as my replacement. She also works very hard for all of the deals him and Jeremy gets.
She deserves this.
"Dad is getting married tomorrow," I spoke softly. Her expressions changed from mad to awed. Her eyes lightened up as if I told her she was getting married.
"Ooh I love weddings! We'll have so much fun tomorrow then, fuck that deal," she stated calmly and started biting on the apple which was sitting on my desk.
"We will? I didn't even invite you," I stated, looking straight into her hazel brown eyes filled with happiness.
"I don't need an invitation, I'm your other half and I shall go where my other half goes," she said in an accent, standing up straight and giving me a big smile as if we were in colonial era.
"I think you should stay and go to the deal with Chase," I said as I took the apple from her hand and took a bite.
"Oh no no I can't go with brother-in-law. You deserved to be with him and nobody else shall take that from you," she spoke dramatically as she took the apple from me and took a bite.
"Well I can't go with him tomorrow and you are the only one I trust to go with him," I told her calmly as I took the apple from her and took a bite.
"And miss out on an amazing wedding? Thanks but no thanks," she said as she took the apple from my hand and she sat down on the chair next to my laptop.
"Rhea!" I groaned.
"Olive!" She faked a groan.
"I can't convince you to go, can I?" I sighed.
"Not a chance," she emphasized on not.
"But chase needs someone to back him up for the deal," I sighed.
Ugh! This is such a big deal. Mr. Chivalry never got this deal but Chase pulled it off so easily. They liked his creation and is ready to invest so many pounds. I can't let this deal go, I will find someone who can go with him. Yeah!
