A/N this is actually about a person in my life who was very close to me committing suicide and this poem was my method of coping
, everyone stay safe please
------------------

dear adelaide,
i am sorry that you felt so sad
so worthless
and so alone
that you couldn't endure
gravity itself
and desperately wanted to escape
dear adelaide,
i fondly remember your light hair
like golden thread
shimmering under light
and your warm eyes
that always made me feel in place
dear adelaide,
you are pure
you made it so that everyone around you
was content and
happy
when you were falling apart
at the seams
and to my
dearest adelaide
it pains me that
you could not see
the light and radiance
of your soul
that shone through
on everyone's life
dear adelaide ,
you healed us
you were our medicine
so it really
truly pains me
and tears me apart inside
to learn that the
healer,
overdosed.
