i left the door ajar
hoping you'd try to come in
and get to know me
but i guess
that you preferred
talking to me from your own room
we say that
we are so close
but
we are so disconnected
and it
breaks me apart inside
and i try
to keep my door open
and welcome you
into to workings of my world
but you're too scared
to even
knock
