i was nothing
but a thought
a possibility in the mind
of god
but you
you were the light
and the radiance
that brought me
to life
you touched the
earth
and out i sprang
a child
innocent
pure
you nourished me
and cared for me
and i worshipped the
soil that you walked on
until you
got bored of me
and decided i should be
no more
so you stopped coming
to check on me
to come
and care for me
but i still existed
craving your presence
but when you realized
that i was still in
your beautiful garden
you felt that
your precious little flower
became a
weed
