my mother has a green thumb
i do not
but i wish that i did
everybody said that
cacti
are the easiest to care for
for they require
little care
so i figured
that i would give it a try
and be responsible for the life
of some organism
while i
throw away
my own
my plants
are past dead now
perhaps there is some symbolism
in it being cacti
thorns
intended to protect
aid
in keeping everyone out
i
will
never
learn
