Tyler:

Alyssa had been on my bed asleep all night. For some reason, she hadn't seemed to move either. I didn't worry too much, until I noticed she had not been breathing. I lost both my parents, and I don't have siblings, or any family in general. Meeting Alyssa is by far one of the most amazing things to happen in my life, she changed me, a lot more than anyone else ever could have, and now? Now she's dead. I knew my luck was bad, but I didn't think it was this bad. I immediately tried waking her up, but she wasn't breathing, so nothing was working. I instantly dropped to the floor. This couldn't happen. Not to her, she didn't deserve this. I was an adult man, crying on my bedroom floor, my heart aching for the girl I love. After I finished being a baby, I decided to call the Salvatore's and tell them Alyssa was gone. But it just hurt so bad, I couldn't even think those words. Grabbing the phone, I dialed Elena's number. "Hello? Tyler! Is Alyssa awake?" Elena asked me when she picked up the phone. "Elena, I don't know how to say this, but- Alyssa is gone." I said, dropping my voice at the end. "What do you mean? Did she run away?" Elena asked. She knew exactly what I meant, she just didn't want to believe it. None of us did. I heard some noises, and Elena gave the phone to Stefan. "Tyler? What the hell is going on?" He asked me, curious but afraid. "Your daughter is dead. She never woke up, and she isn't breathing." I said, straight up. I heard Stefan and Elena's voices crack, and they began crying. "We're coming." Stefan said, then hung the phone up.

It didn't take too long for the Salvatore's to get to my house, and when they did, not one of them said hello. They all walked in, and saw Alyssa dead, then each cried. Elena had left the house, and Stefan followed behind. Jamilla was there, her eyes filled with tears. I saw her face, she was just as heart broken as I, maybe even more, I had to go outside to calm myself down.

Jamilla:

I was alone, in the bedroom with Alyssa. Her body laid on the bed, still as a rock. She was gone, and this was all my fault. I couldn't help but begin to cry. "I am so sorry, Alyssa." I said, as I grabbed her hand. I laid my head against hers, and let the tears fall off my face. Mom and dad walked in, Tyler followed behind and we sat in the same room together, mourning my sisters death. "I'm sorry Mom and Dad and Tyler, this is all my fault." I said. I got up off the bed, and sat on the floor. Tyler looked at me, "This isn't your fault, none of it." he said to me. My mom and dad both smiled and agreed with Tyler. The room was silent for a little while, but Tyler opened his mouth again, "So, why did you kill Caroline?" he asked me, looking down at the ground now. I remembered that they had been together, before Tyler was with Alyssa. I probably hurt him a bit. "Well, she could have turned Alyssa into something she didn't want to be, and I couldn't let her get away with that." I said, trying not to make eye contact. "Look, I know you guys had a thing a long time ago, and I'm sorry, nobody messes with my family and gets away with it." I added real quick. "I agree. I miss Caroline, but we haven't talked for years, she was too busy going after Stefan. Besides, if I were still with Care today, I wouldn't have met the most amazing girl in this world." Tyler looked at Alyssa, and smiled. I smiled too. Mom and dad sighed, realizing what came next. "We should probably go now Tyler, all four of us." My mom said, looking at Alyssa's body. He nodded his head, and walked towards the bed. He knelt down, and planted a kiss on her cheek. I saw a tear slide down his face, and I began to feel bad. All of a sudden, my focus was on Alyssa. I could have sworn her body just moved. "Mom, did you see that?" I asked, pointing to Alyssa. "See what?" She said, not wanting me to answer. "I swear her body moved, when Tyler kissed her." I said. My face grew brighter, and filled with a bit of hope. We all stood for a moment, and watched, nothing happened. "I think you were hallucinating, Jamilla." Mom said, as she got up to leave.

Alyssa's eyes flashed opened, and her body popped up, gasping for air. "What-the-hell-happened?" Alyssa asked, pausing between each word. Mom smiled, then started to cry. Dad hugged Alyssa, and mom. "I can't believe it worked, you're alive!" I said to Alyssa. She looked at me shocked. "Well, seeing as you're here, I guess your humanity is back? Which means the plan did work!" She said, smiling. I saw her make eye contact with Tyler, and then her cheeks turned a bright red. "I love you Tyler." Alyssa said. I saw him wink at her, and whisper that he loved her too. I couldn't help but smile, everything was back to normal!
