'What's wrong with you?' I asked Isaiah whilst I sat infront of the mirror, doing my hair. He shrugged and continued staring at his blackberry. I frowned and stood up, I sat on his lap facing him and forced his face to look up at me.

'You've been acting off with me for a while now and all you seem to care about is sex.' I said and he kissed his teeth.

'If that's all you think I'm after then you're with the wrong person.' I raised my eyebrow and he moved me off his lap.

'Have a nice day at college.' He said with a tone of sarcasm before leaving the house, I rolled my eyes and stood up. I had no idea why he was acting like that and why he left knowing we leave together although we go to different colleges? Sighing, I picked up my bag and wrapped my scarf around my neck, grabbed my coat and walked to my Gran's house. I unlocked the front door and closed it behind me, the whole house was in complete darkness.

'Trevan?' I said, no reply.

'Trevan?!' I called out and he appeared at the top of the stairs half dressed, without his top on.

'What's good Nat?'

'Can you hurry up and get ready, I need to go college.'

'Huh, did you not hear what I said?! I can't leave the house especially to go college, I'm supposed to say hidden!' I rolled my eyes.

'Fucking hell Trevan, I'm already in so much trouble with my mum as she somehow found out you're staying here.' He tutted and slowly shook his head.

'What did your little boyfriend snake it?' He said and I frowned.

'No Trevan, he wouldn't do that, and don't get rude before I kick you out of here. My mum's most probably coming down here and if you're in here she'll probably call the police especially because it's you.' I said and his eyes widened.

'Are you serious? What the fuck am I supposed to do?'

'I don't know do I!? Look, I need to go college and you already know it's a long journey from here-'

'Nat you can't just leave me here though if your mums coming,'

'I can if I want to Tre considering you literally dropped me in the middle of your problems.' I said bluntly and he scratched the side of his head.

'Sorry babe, I just didn't know who else to turn to and I know you're always there for me.' He said, looking straight at me. I nodded slowly and he held the side of my face, I broke eye contact with him and stepped backwards.

'Hurry up and get changed so we can leave.'

'I thought you're going college?'

'Not anymore, you can stay with me at Isaiah's in the day until I'm sure my mums gone.' I said and he hugged me tightly, I laughed and he kissed my forehead.

'But you're missing out on college Nat.' He said and I shrugged.

'It doesn't matter, it's only one day and if my mum finds out I don't really care.' I said bluntly and he grinned.

'I love you, you know that don't you Nat?' Trevan said and I shrugged, I looked at him and his eyes locked with mine.

'I know that.' I said and he smiled, I waited for him to go upstairs and grab his bag, at how my mum had reacted I wouldn't be surprised if she told the police and told them that even I wasn't supposed to be staying here but I knew because Gran was around she wouldn't do that. We walked back to Isaiah's and I unlocked the door, Monica was at work and Shanay was at school, Isaiah stormed out earlier to go college. I had no idea what was up with him lately, he'd been acting up and it was worrying me.
