Ashleigh's point of view-
"Knock knock"
"What do you want Jerome?!"
"I just want to come in?"
"Doors unlocked...” I heard the door open and I sat up to see what he wanted. He sat next to me on my bed and ran his fingers through my hair,
"Ash please tell me you were drunk last night..." I shook my head. As I did this I saw Jerome's heart sink,
"At least he was drunk right?" he asked hopefully. This time I nodded.
"Ash what were you thinking," he asked as he embraced me. I looked down at the ground and said nothing, "Baby girl I liked you! All you needed to say was that you liked someone else and I would've taken the friend approach."
Once again I looked down at the ground as I knew I had hurt him.
"There is nothing between me and Mitch," I say quietly.
"You sure Ash?" Jerome questions.
"I promise" I explain looking up at him, "Does your heart need fixing?"
Jerome laughed "it could use a least a cuddle bandage."
I embraced him and squeezed as tight as I could, then I leant on his shoulder,
"Better now?" He nodded and left my room.
