Chapter 23- Berserk

Yuu's perspective:
We were deployed at the Sunken Grid.

There we first saw the Sariel. My body reacted automatically, avoiding the Sariel's swift laser attacks. I slashed it without knowing it and i stabbed it and manage to cut it in half. The core was cut in half too. Kota and Alisa can't believe it. Neither do i. What must've happen to me?

"Y-Yuu your...amazing!" Kota said in shock.

"Huh? Why is the Sariel d-dead...?"i said not knowing what i did at all.

"You mean you don't know what you did?" Alisa asked.

"Why? What did i do?" I asked them.

"You killed it and cut it in half... which no one can do!" Kota said.

"Huh? But..--"

I was interrupted when i saw myself having purple-black steam. I felt very hot and the urging feeling wanting to kill.

"G-GET AWAY!!" i said.

"Yuu???" Asked Alisa.

"Urrghh... Aaarrrgghhh!!!"

I then sprinted. I saw the Gboro-Gboro and run towards it without knowing what i'll do. All in my mind is that i should kill it, then i stabbed it with my God Arc full of impact, now there's a hole in the Gboro's stomach. It still alive though, i must extract the core. But the Gboro bit my hand. And attacked me with its fin. I was thrown back. Alisa and Kota fired the Gboro-Gboro's head. I stood fast like nothing happen. The purple-black steam thing was gone. And i was normal again. Its attacks have no effect on me. Its like i just fell backwards.

Huh? Why am i wanting to kill... its not like me...

I learned myself that the power only comes out when I'm enraged. I don't want such powers. But it might be the only key to kill all those things. Oh what should i-- should i embrace it... i don't want to be overpowered myself... when i was a kid i only want to live simple and peacefully...

But how the hell can i do that now?

"Kota! Alisa! Get back!"

I took my God Arc and run towards it. I slashed it doing less damage than before. Through the hole i slashed it. And it's down. I was about to extract the core when Dr. Sakaki with Shio and Soma topped me.

"Don't extract the core yet, Shio will eat it herself." Dr. Sakaki said.

Shio ate it.

"Mmm... tasty!"

I touched my face with my right hand. It felt very hot. Must be because of the purple-black steam. I felt dizzy. But pushed myself. When we arrived at the Fenrir far east Branch, i immediately go to my room and slept. I didn't know i slept there for 3 days, sweating and breathing heavily. I don't know what is happening to me, and it makes me very insane.

"Hah...Hah..." my eyes are widened in shock. I feel aches all over again like before, and it's like killing me softly. Tears fall from my eyes. Then i hear a voice.

You must... control your power.
In order to kill them all, you must!

Who was that... now i think I'm paranoid. I took a very tight grip in my blanket. Then i heard a knock.

"Uh Yuu... its me, Alisa..."

"Come...i-in..." i can't stand up.

When she saw me, she rushed herself towards me. Then even my eyes felt hot i couldn't open it. Alisa touched my forehead.

"Y-Your so hot!, please rest I'll take care of you. ...J-Just rest it's okay."

Then i slept.

Alisa's perspective:

Yuu had a very hot fever, i wet a towel and put it in his forehead and make a soup. The soup doesn't look tasty, but he must at least eat. He was on his room for 3 days with a fever like that-- why didn't he told me!! Well who can tell when you can't get up...

I opened his mouth with a spoon and feed him with the soup. He look really tired and pale. I can't stop worrying. It seems he passes out so much these days... what could have happened to him--

Right! I will know through the Resonance!

I touched his hand, and hold it. There i saw what had happened.

So.. there he felt... ??!

Ahh... when in bloodlust he -- becomes overpowered? Why is that?

Could it be his genes had some problem... or the Oracle cells... how should it be?!

"Yuu..." i said in a low sad voice.

What if... he was an Aragami too?

But that can't be... Soma was half too and yet he isn't like--

Come to think of it, when Soma's in rage he becomes powerful too...

But no way Yuu is such one..

Maybe-- he was injected with something... if the Director will know this, maybe what Soma said will be true as well...

Yuu will be a test subject...

No way! I'll fight the Director himself if that point comes.

But Yuu... how could that happen... is he.. no no.

I must take care of him first.

A day had passed. I slept in his sofa. When i woke up, i touched his forehead. The fever has lowered, thank goodness.

I cooked Borscht but i don't think anyone would like it...

"Yuu (i shake him) , Yuu wake up."

Yuu: Uhh... i... don't want this... *sleep talking*
Alisa: (what, my Borscht?)
Yuu: I... don't want this... power...

Huh, what power??

Yuu then had come to.

Yuu: Ah!
Alisa: Yuu?
Yuu: O-Oh... s-sorry... (Aw so embarrassing)
Alisa: No, it's okay. How're you feeling?
Yuu: Well umm... i think i don't feel very hot like before..
Alisa: Good..! How about you eat some Borscht?
Yuu: Sure. (Hope it's not like before.)

Yuu ate some of it. I don't think it's yummy. But he must eat at least...

Yuu: No kidding-- your Borscht...(how did she improved?!) *eats more*
Alisa: What? Is it bad??
Yuu: Well, it doesn't taste bad at all. Actually, I like it!
Alisa: Really?! *so happy* (Wow! He liked it!) I'm so happy!
Yuu: Did Sakuya taught you?
Alisa: Y-Yeah. (And she got troubled teaching me, her utensils were fried...)
Yuu: *sip* hmm! I think i could go to missions now. Let's battle some Vajratails together, after that I'll treat you some snack!☆
Alisa: *smiles* Yeah, sure!

I am so happy, Yuu got up now and did he say my cooking was good? (Oh yeah after 5 months i learned to cook a Borscht well! Another five months for the Flan! Hehe... Sakuya I'm so sorry...)
