The last chapter left our two budding lovebirds bruised and broken alone on an island in the Great Lakes. They're separated from their friends and both are incapacitated with critical injuries, Reine with the infection in her leg and Elias with a shattered wing.
What happens? Do they get off the island? Do they get attacked by more monsters? Or cannibals? The possibilities are endless!
