The bag on your shoulder was starting to get heavy as you had been carrying it for a few hours. You had to get back to your motel and the shapeshifter had completely made you crash your car. The night was cold and the noises no longer made you glance around, you just made your feet keep moving despite the aching.

The motel came into view and you sighed in relief. You were so tired and you hadn't realized how far that shapeshifter had been. You weren't worried about how you were gonna be able to get to your next case, you just wanted some sleep.

You searched through your bag for your motel key but couldn't find it. You groaned in annoyance and dumped the bag on the concrete beneath you. All of your things scattered across the ground but your key was no where in sight. You tried to remember it was. You dropped to the ground and sat against your door. It's in your car. Out of everything you had to forget the key.

You huffed and leaned your head back and shut your eyes. Not bothering to pick up your stuff, exhaustion took over and you fell asleep.

A loud car engine filled your ears but you were still to tired to open your eyes. The headlights were bright even through your closed eyelids. As soon as the car shut off you smiled internally. You listened as the car doors opened and shut. When you heard nothing else you decided to open your eyes. You noticed a man crouched down in front of you and another standing.

You rubbed your eyes, trying to get rid of the tiredness. As soon as you could focus you recognized the man in front of you. You sucked in a sharp breath and looked at the other man. Dean was crouched in front of you. Sam was standing.

You hadn't seen them for almost two years. You left them. No reason, no letters, and no clues. You hoped they didn't recognize you, but by the look on their faces they knew exactly who you were.

"Y/N, where the hell have you been?" Dean asked angrily. You could tell he wanted to try and stay calm but his emotions were to much that he couldn't help but raise his voice. You took a deep breath before speaking.

"Nothing, just hunting." You cut it short. You knew the would both want more answers and you were waiting for there to be a screaming argument. That's a reason you left. Dean and you hadn't been getting along, he was to protective and you hated it.

"Cut the bullshit. Why did you leave? You didn't leave a goddamn note! You didn't say goodbye! You just up and left! Hell, I thought you were dead!" Dean shouted. You bit your tongue to keep from yelling back.

"Dean, I don't want to do this. I don't wanna argue. I'm tired and I had a long night. Please." You begged. His hard face softened at your words.

"Why'd you leave me? Sam?" He asked quietly and hung his head low. You glanced at Sam who held a sad smile. You focused back on Dean.

"We were just arguing, Dean. Constant fights and yelling everyday. I couldn't take it. I didn't want to fight with you. I decided it would be easier to leave. I didn't want you to look for me. I just wanted to hunt without being treated like a child." You explained softly. Dean looked back up and met your gaze.

He looked defeated. He took hit bottom lip between his teeth and you licked your dry lips. He stood up and held his hand out. You stared at it. You hadn't held his hand in so long. You hadn't felt his touch in so long. You hesitantly brought your hand off your lap up to his hand. As soon as you touched his hand, his instinctively shut around yours. He pulled you up to your feet.

You brushed the dirt off yourself and fixed your shirt. Dean and Sam watched you carefully. One more look into Dean's eyes and you threw your arms around his neck. He took no time in responding as his wrapped around your waist. You missed him dearly and there were times you regretted leaving. The pain of not having him in the beginning was horrible but you soon got used to it.

You soon pulled away and looked at Sam. His hands rested in his pockets and you gave him a small smile before you jumped at him and wrapping your arms around him. His arms left his pockets and wrapped around your shoulders. He kissed the top of your head and you snuggled deeper into him, taking in the comfort from him that you had missed.

What felt like minutes was only about 10 seconds. Pulling away was hard as you just wanted to stay in both of their arms for a few hours.

"So why were you sleeping outside?" Dean asked as he began picking up your things and tossing them in your bag. You laughed a little awkwardly.

"Um well you see, this shapeshifter made me crash my car and I left the key in the car. My car is over 2 hours away. I wasn't walking all the way back." You said and gave an innocent smile.

Dean gave you a small smirk and you didn't think you would be so happy to see it. You hadn't seen him smile or smirk since before you even left. Now you had to make him laugh.

"Although, the concrete is pretty comfy. Maybe more comfy than these mattresses." You attempted at being funny. Dean let out a chuckle and you instantly broke into a smile. Sam following with another chuckle.

This was what you missed. Spending time with the boys. Seeing them smile and laugh and all because of you. The memories of all the time you spent together came flooding back. You couldn't help but feel a little sad as you and Dean were no longer together and you weren't sure if he wanted that again.

"Y/N, babe, let's get a new room. You sleep with me. Like old times." Dean said and gave you a wink as he headed to the main desk to ask for a room.

Sam raised his eyebrow at you and threw an arm over your shoulder and pulling you into his side. The brother and sister love you had with Sam was as if it had never left, and it hadn't.

Your love for Dean, although not brother and sister love, was still there. It hadn't left. Neither had his love for you. Everything was as it should be. Perfect for you. Your little family was back and you couldn't be more happy.
