Harry's POV

I awoke the next morning differently than I had any other Saturday morning in months. I didn't wake up with a pounding headache from over-intake of alcohol and I could remember everything that had happened the night before. I could remember Jenson, and actually smiling for the first time in what felt like an eternity. I remembered walking home and Jenson wrapping her arms around my shoulders before slipping into her room. It'd been a while since I brought a girl to her room without actually following her inside and climbing into her bed.

Jenson was sort of strange. Her whole obsession with painting and art was sort of cool but that bit about stars she wouldn't shut up about was just weird. I mean, who gets that excited about freaking stars? They're the same every night. Unchanging, constant. Just like everything else in my world at the moment.

But on the other hand, she was really thought provoking. The things she said were unlike anybody else and she was the first girl who wasn't all over me the second we met. Jenson seemed different.

I could hear Niall and Violet's voices intermingling with the sound of the TV. When did that girl actually sleep at her dorm instead of our apartment? Not that I was complaining; who knew exactly how many nights I brought a girl to the apartment and split to Romeo's before she woke up the morning after, with only a note saying 'nice night, thanks xx' and Niall left to deal with them?

A low growl from my stomach forced me to actually get out of bed. I walked to the kitchen in only sweatpants, earning a scolding from Violet. "Harry, how many times have I told you to put a shirt on while I'm here?" she shrieked.

"I don't know, how many times have I told you that it's my apartment and I can do whatever the hell I want?" I replied with a smirk.

"Whatever," she huffed, looking at Niall like she expected him to help her out. I chuckled silently when I saw his gaze wasn't focused on her, but the cartoons on the screen of the television in front of them.

I searched through the whole damn pantry and refrigerator, only to find stale bread, a bit of jelly, and Niall's beer. "Why have we never got any food?" I grumbled to myself.

"So, Harry," Violet cleared her throat. "Jenson got back okay, right?" I shoved my bread into the toaster.

"No, Violet, she's laying in a ditch off the road somewhere." I rolled my eyes. "Yes, she's fine. I would have told you that if you two weren't shaking the whole fucking apartment when I got back." Both of their ears turned pink as their eyes met; must be the Irish in them.

"I was just making sure, jerk." she barked.

I paused before asking, "So, what's up with her?"

Niall gave me a puzzled look and Violet raised an eyebrow. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"I mean, she's kinda... different, I guess," I said, focusing on applying the jelly to my toast.

"Are you saying she's weird?" Weird, yes... but interesting, I thought to myself.

"Yeah, a little."

Violet got defensive. "You didn't seem to think she was weird whenever you were laughing at everything she said last night." Jenson was pretty funny.

"Yeah, mate, she's real cool." Niall said. I thought about how she'd taken that shot the second I challenged her.

I rolled my eyes. "That's not what I meant. Yeah, she's cool. But is there anything else?"
