A Breakdown of Forecast's Debut Album Spoiler

Forecast's debut album spoiler is out! I hope you all are excited for their debut and the great music to come! Most importantly, because we must wait a few more days to listen to the full mini-album, what can be gotten from the short clips of music revealed in the album spoiler? Check it out here if you haven't already, and let's get started!

"On Rainy Days" is the first song on the Rain & Sun Album. This opening song's small clip features R41N's outstanding deep-voice rapping paired with sentimental acoustics of guitar and light percussion, giving the depressing tone of a "rainy day". The lyrics revealed by R41N are as follows: "I must be drunk I think I need to stop drinking; Since the rain is falling, I think I might fall as well; Well this doesn't mean that I miss you, no it doesn't mean that; It just means that the time we had together was a bit sharp." This opening song, the first in the pair of "rainy" songs, is likely to express upset of a relationship and its connection to the saddening connotations of rain. 

"Rainy Day" is the main track and debut song whose music video is to be released on April 2nd. The short clip of the chorus reveals Chen's* voice followed by Hyunwoo's. Chen's lines are as follows: "When rain falls on my lips, It feels like I can touch you; Feels like I can catch you, the rain resembles you." which is followed by Hyunwoo: "The sunlight has gotten wet, I hate the rain so much. I try to forget you but you keep falling, stop it."  This song is less saddening than the first but still reveals a reflective tone and compares the situation to a "Rainy Day". 

"Habits" is the third track on the Album and is part of the pair of "sunny" songs. The revealed clip features Kaito's singing of what is likely the chorus of this happy, gleaming song. He sings, "My hand habit of touching you, my hand habit towards you; My lip's habit of calling you, my lip's habit for you; [I put my lips] to the void and call you, I'm reaching out my hand looking for you." This song is also still reflective, but with a more gleeful turn. I predict the song's main theme is "Even if you've changed, I haven't, and without any regret I continue." as they are happy for their developed habits even if their actions do not return any benefit. 

"Like That Sun" is the final track of Rain & Sun and is in the pair of "sunny songs" as well. The clip featured in the album spoiler shows off the strong drum beat in the song and positivity of the song. Taeyang's part, which I am currently predicting is not the chorus but rather a buildup, is as follows: "There isn't a single day that I can live without you baby; I'm waiting all night for the morning sun to rise; My heart races." 

Again, based on these small clips of each song the theme of this album could be a reflection amongst relationships and the effects of them. Almost like different personalities, some reactions are more depressing, some are reflective, others naive, and some hoping.
