So our band director gave Spunkyhorse14 , FluffehDaCat , and me some inspiration. Our director told us that one time around Christmas, a trombone player would wrap the slide of his trombone in battery-powered Christmas lights. This is the best picture I can find; it's not the good.

Anyways, the way he wrapped it still made the instrument playable. So, my friends and I were thinking that since we're getting a new band director next year, we could suggest something for our next Christmas concert: A) Wrap everyone's instruments in lights B) wrap everyone's stands on lights C) wrap both stands and instruments in lights D) do C but maybe with the lights off and stand lights for sheet music.
