The Life of a Band Nerd

Dental Care (Owl City)

  So, tomorrow is my dentist appointment for fillings. I thought it would be at 10:00 am, but they called today and said it was 9:00 am, so wohoo! My mom is gonna try to make the band meeting, too, which is 45 minutes in the other direction and starts at 10:00. It takes about an hour and a half to two hours for fillings, and the thing is, half my face will be numb for about four hours after that. So...I'm not sure how well I'm gonna play, if we play at all. I tried numbing my lips with an ice cube yesterday and then play my trumpet, but it's not the same as shots. So...we'll see how this all plays out.

   I also got the Twenty One Pilots, "Vessel" album and my mom forced me to play it in our car even though I explained to her that she wouldn't like that kind of music. I played, "Truce", "House of Gold", and a little bit of "The Run and Go." My mom probably would've freaked if I played something like Car Radio. So...yeah, it was awkward.
 
  Anyways, hopefully I'll update tomorrow about how the dentist appointment and band will turn out. Bye!
