Chapter 38

Evie's POV

I woke up and got in the shower. When I got out I put on a purple dress that was super pretty and one of my favorites but it was light and barley skimmed the floor. I walked over to my basket of food and grabbed some grapes and an apple and began to eat. As I was finishing I heard rocks against my window. I opened them and saw Violet. I smiled. Then I enchanted my tree and it picked her up and brought her to my window. I helped her in. You have magic, she asked surprised. O yeah sorry I forgot to tell you about that if you are scared and don't want to hand out with me anymore I understand, I said looking sadly at her. She giggled. Don't worry I am not scared actually I am really realived, she said. I looked at her confused. She waved her hand and she had chocolate in her hand. I have magic too and I was scared you would be afraid of me, she said. She handed me some chocolate. How did you get here, I asked. She pointed out of the window and I saw a chestnut horse. He is beautiful, I said. Thank you, she said. Hey do you wanna go for a ride, I asked? I would love to, she said. Stepped on the window sill and the tree lowered me and Violet down to the ground. She walked her horse to my stables. My horse is right here, I said pointing to my horse. His name is Moonlight, I said. He is gorgeous, Violet said. Thank you, I said. I waved my hand and he was saddled. I hoped on him and Violet jumped on her horse. I walked him out of the stables. What about your parents. Me and my family aren't getting along right now so I could really care less, I said. She nodded. Then before we dashed off I heard a voice. Evie, I heard Snow yell. What, I snapped. She was a good amount away from me. Where are you off to and who is this, she asked. You want me to tell you so you can go run and tell my mom so I can't see my friend again, I yelled. Evie I-, Snow began. Race you to the woods, I said to Violet. Your on, she said. I kicked Moonlight and he dashed off leaving Snow behind us. We ran into the woods and galloped to a stream. Beat you, I said throwing my hands up in victory. You cheated you got a head start, Violet said pretending to pout. Why where you so mad at that lady, Violet asked? I told her the whole story. Wait so let me get this right they won't let you see your own grandmother because of what she had done in the past, Violet said upset. Yeah, I said. That is so stupid, she said. I agree, I said. Well maybe if we ride for a while it will take your mind off this, she said. We rode then she went home and so did I. I put Moonlight away in his stall and walked up to the castle. I waved my hand and was in my room. I opened my door and walked out. I walked to the library and grabbed some books and stuck them in my basket. Suddenly Belle showed up. Found her, she yelled. I ran out into the hall and mom, Emma, Snow, Charming, Hook, Zelena and Robin showed up. Why hello traitors, I said pissed. Evie-, mom started. Save it, I said. I don't want to hear it, I said walking off. Evie you won't even try and talk to us, Emma said. Because no matter what I say I don't have a say in anything, you won't let me see my own damn grandmother because you all hate her, I said. Evie we are doing the best thing for you, Snow said. Well now I am doing the best thing for me, since you won't let me see my grandmother because you hate her I won't see or talk to any of you guys because I hate you all, I said getting pissed and tears forming in my eyes. Evie-, mom began to say. Save it you have Henry and he was more than enough for you when you didn't have me raise him with Emma, because as far as I am concerned I am no long your daughter or related to any of you guys, I said screaming the last part. I began to run to my room, but they started running after me. I started up the first few stairs but someone grabbed ahold of me. Let go, I said thrashing around and kicking the person who had me with my heels. I saw it was Hook. Get your dirty pirate hands off me, I screamed thrashing around. Evie calm down, mother said. No, I screamed. Lass please calm down, Hook said trying to hold me still. NO, I screamed. Evie calm down please don't make me use force, mother said. I SAID LET ME GO, I screamed and get thrashing around. Suddenly I saw blood I wasn't sure if it was mine or Hooks. Then I was frozen and I couldn't move. Hook let go of me. What point of I don't want to talk to any of you guys because I hate you all don't you understand, I snapped. Hey we are just trying to help you so that way you don't get hurt by your grandmother, Snow said. And what are you guys doing now, I snapped. Then mother unfroze me. Then I began to cry. I picked up my books. You guys don't get it do you, you think that everyone you once knew that was bad will always be bad, you say you give more chances and have faith on good people and bad people, but that is just for show you guys don't have faith on bad guys, the only reason you gave mom another chance is because Henry begged you to, you didn't want to and weren't going to, I trusted, believed and loved all of you I thought that you guys could maybe stand true to your word but you are all a bunch of hypocrites, I no longer trust you, I no longer believe you, and am running low on love for all of you, I said through tears. Then I turned around and walked up the stairs. We are sorry, I am sorry, Snow said. I turned and looked at her. Sorry won't fix it this time, I said crying hard and about ready to start to bawl. I ran up the stairs and into my room. I closed my door and began to bawl. I took down my sound barrier but left up my protection spell. I cried myself to sleep. The next morning I woke up got dressed in a dress like I had on yesterday but blue with matching heels and ate an apple from my basket. I was reading when suddenly I heard Snow yelling my name. I rolled my eyes and walked to the door. I opened it and saw Snow there crying. What do you want, I asked bored. Evie you have to hurry it's your grandmother something is wrong. I instantly raced out of my room down the stairs. Where is she, I asked Snow running down the stairs. Her house, Snow said. I ran past everyone that was head outside to my grandmother's house. I whistled and Moonlight came running out of the stables. I waved my hand and he was saddled. I jumped on Moonlight and kicked him. He dashed off and I rode him all the way to grandma's. When I reached her house I jumped off him and ran into her house. I ran to her room where mom and Emma were. They moved out of the way and I saw grandma. She was dying and every second she was slowly leaving me. I began to bawl. I ran over to her. G-grandma, I said bawling. Even on her death bed she look beautiful. Evie darling hi, she said. Hi grandma, I said. She grabbed my hand. Grandma please don't leave me, I said bawling. Evie I will never leave you I will always be in your heart, she said. I nodded my head. Evie I am sorry I wasn't always the best grandma, I am sorry for kidnapping you and hurting you, but above all I am sorry I sent you away when you were a baby, I wish I never did that, the moment you returned to the castle I fell in love with you, you were so brave, beautiful, kind, and loving and I love you so much, I wish everyday that I could go back to that day and take it all back, and I wish I wouldn't have killed your father, I know he would be so proud off you and when I leave you I will make sure to tell him you love him, I am so sorry Evie, she said. I forgive you grandma I always have, I said. Please promise me something, I said. Anything darling. Always remember me and also tell grandpa I said hi and that I miss him and love him to the moon and back, I said crying. Of course I will always remember you and I will deliver your message, she said. As long as you promise me something, she said. Anything grandma, I said. Always remember me and never hold grudges and don't turn dark I want you to be the purest of heart, Grandma said. I could never forget you even if I tried and I promise for you I will stay purest of heart and hold no grudge, I said. Then she unhooked her necklace and hooked it around my neck. I hugged grandma and she hugged me back. Then she gave me a kiss. I love you, I said holding her hand. I love you more than you know you made my life pure, she said. I love you so much Evie, she said. Then her eyes shut and her hand dropped from mine. Grandma, I said crying. I shook her lightly. She was gone. I began to bawl and I wrapped her in a tight hug. I let go of her and ran out of the house into the front yard. I collapsed on the ground and continued to bawl.
