There he was. On the football field. Only an eyeshot distance away from me. I started walking towards him, as people were starting to say goodbye to him after their little after school free game. He saw me as I approached & smirked at me.
God damnit like he thought I was gonna beg him for a second chance. He was like that. Once he hit it, he really quit it. All girls came back begging but he turns them down each & every time. Let's hope he doesn't turn me down for this. But again he is known as the CA of the team.
"Hey Hayes," I greeted him.
"Hey Shai. Listen if you're here for another night of fun, I can't give it to you. It goes against my vow," he shrugged.
"Trust me I'm not here for that. Although what we did was fun but I think we had a bit too much fun Hayes," I looked down.
"What do you mean?" he asked as he placed his fingers under my chin & lifted up my head.
"Hayes. I'm pregnant," I said inaudibly. All I got back was a glare with flared nostrils. He looked furious & then his face relaxed & he started laughing.
"You're fucking with me right?" he asked, so carefree.
"Hayes," I whispered & tears started falling down my face.
"Oh fuck you're serious," his voice dropped & he went pale.
"Yeah I'm sorry," I shook my head & started crying.
"Well, um, are you sure it's mine?" he asked inaudibly.
"Yeah of course," I nodded my head, trying to catch my breath.
"Well it could be somebody else's. I mean you were pretty hammered last night & you're not really the definition of a saint," he said clearly & I honestly couldn't believe him.
"What are you saying?" my voice turned into a roar of fury.
"You're delusional. It's not mine," he shook his head.
"Hayes it is yours you dick," I started to raise my voice.
"Now that I think about it, I don't remember fucking you. Stop coming to me with your false accusations you attention seeking whore!" he yelled & took off.
"Hayes!" I screamed but he was out of sight.
Yeah CA really is his title.
