A Week of Heaven and Hell

Sunday-March 17

I had gotten home exhausted, I had thought that my first day was bad, but after working there for a week, everything was chaotic. The new manager had to endure some of their craziness. I had bumped into her the first day I got there and only after an hour of being with the boys had they told me I had a huge coffee stain on my butt. Jin kindly offered to give me his extra pair of sweatpants, and I gratefully took them. Most embarrassing moment is that I walked around the office and no one had told me.

When I got home I couldn't wait to tell my brother, but I had no energy. The moment I walked into the door my body fell onto the couch. Ace greeted me by licking my face, laying his head down onto my back. I huffed as he got on top of me, laying down on my back.

“Hello.”

“Hey.”

“Tomorrow, it's your break?”

“Yeah.” I got a message on my phone, and read it silently.

I sighed, seeing he was at least trying to make things work

I sighed, seeing he was at least trying to make things work. We hadn't talked since our fight.

I sighed, glad nothing had really changed between us

I sighed, glad nothing had really changed between us. My brother shook my arm, trying to wake me up.

“You're sleeping in my bed, get up and go to yours.”

“No, go sleep in mime, I'm perfectly comfortable.”

We both had heard the screeching of tires outside. “You're living in a really shady neighborhood, you're basically asking to get robbed you know that.”

“Mhm.”

“We'll go house shopping tomorrow morning, no if or buts about it.”

“Since when do you live here?”

“Since of today. I'll be paying rent, light, and water since I'll be living there too. Might as well move closer to your job too.”

I sighed, too tired to even begin to argue.

The Next Day

Both of us had just finished talking to a house seller. We stood in the living room silently. I marveled at the chandeliers that hung from the ceiling, admiring how beautiful everything looked. My brother tends to lean towards the old style, not really into modern stuff. He claims he doesn't like old things, he states he is into the classics.
