Alicia's POV:

The minute we crossed into the territory of the pack I had been told to avoid, I knew I was doomed. Not only did I currently have to warriors on my tail, but I also was in the worst pack known, or so I had heard.

As if this wasn't already bad enough, I heard growls ring out around me. Five large wolves approached us. They looked familiar, from where I don't know. The rogues behind me must have notice their mistake because they faltered slightly, all of us coming to a dead stop.

"Shift" the leader of the wolves growled through a mind-link. I quickly turned and hid behind a tree to shift and dress. Once I was wearing everything, I came back out, my hair a tangled mess from my escape.

The five wolves had shifted, each very athletic and wearing a pair of basketball shorts. The rogues had on grey shirts and black shorts, glancing at me with looks of malice. "You all are going to be taken custody for being on this pack's land. Understood?"

Before I could answer, one of the rogues sneered, "And who's pack did we trespass on?"

The leader of the rogues smirked evilly. "Why the Blood Moon Pack, of course."

"Did you say B-Blood Moon?" My voice squeaked out. Had I finally made it home? Was this the place I had been taken from all those years ago?

"Well it looks like someone here knows the reputation this pack has." Reputation? What could he possibly be talking about?

The man pauses for a moment before barking orders to his pack members. "Alpha wants the guys in the dungeon. Leave the girl to me."

What was he going to do? Instead of cowering like he was expecting me to do, however, I crossed my arms across my chest. Alpha? Was this my old Alpha, or was it.. was it Ty? Gulping, I quickly calculated that he would be... twenty? Already? I bet he already found his mate, and they wouldn't care for me.

"What do you want?" I asked, looking him dead in the eye.

He completely disregarded my question. "Alpha wants you to attend school tomorrow, so you will be staying in an extension of the pack house."

"Does he know who I am?" I asked, hope flickering in my eyes.

"Yeah, a pesky rogue who came into his territory. I honestly don't know why you didn't get the same treatment as the other two."

Sadness must've overwhelmed my face before a smirk appeared. Even if he did have a mate, I knew he liked hot girls, and not to brag, but I had changed. Like a lot.

"Okay, let's keep it that way." I said as a plan formulated in my head.

"Is their something I'm missing?" A wary look appeared on his face as he glanced at me with caution.

"No, now show me where I am staying." He sent me a confused glance, obviously feeling the power radiating off me despite my rogue status, but didn't say anything. Instead he led me to  where I would be staying while I was here.

It was a simple building, not quite as exquisite as the Alpha's estate, I'm sure, but it had it's charms to it. I was fine with anything by now, after living with rogues for a decade. The guard seemed to notice my stares, because he quickly snapped, "Don't think you'll get better treatment. You are still a rogue after all."

"Well then why did your Alpha let me in and not execute me immediately?"

He gritted his teeth before speaking. "It's only because he wants to make sure his mate is out there so he can reject them and be with the true Luna."

I growled. How could Ty do this, especially to his mate? I bet that Luna is Sabrina. He always had a thing for her. It just disgusts me that he would go so low as to reject his mate without laying eyes on her.

The interior of the building continued to impress me. It was a housing building, kind of like what humans call an apartment complex. I was led to a room with a white door that blended in with the rest. I was given the key and stepped in to find myself in a room with a small kitchenette, couch, queen bed and bathroom. An antique wardrobe sat against the corner, providing adequate space for my small wardrobe.

"Since you don't appear to have brought any excess clothes with you, you will find some in the wardrobe. You are expected to attend the school in town tomorrow. That's when the Alpha will decide what he should do with you."

What he should do with me. Oh, I was so scared. I rolled my eyes at this, heading farther into the room to further inspect the large flat screen mounted on the wall. What? I've been held hostage for a decade, can you really blame me?

The wolf I was with must've seen my lack of interest at the fear the Alpha had hoped to strike in me. "So, Rogue, you think you can just walk in here and treat us like we are the inferior ones in the room? Really? I don't think this is how it works. Especially not with the Blood Moon Pack."

I couldn't help but let a small amount of my previous spoiled self seep through as I took a seat in the plush couch.  "Yeah, well you can go inform your Alpha that I don't care what he does, I'm not going to bow down to him." The man looked shocked at my response. Let's just say, people here weren't used to being spoken to this way. I could say that when I used to live here I definitely was not.

I smiled at his shock and simply brushed it off without much thought as I sat back and watched as a local football game streamed on the TV. "If you don't mind, please leave the key on the table over there. Oh, and don't worry, I'll gladly attend that school that your Alpha wanted me to." I couldn't help but add one comment on the end. "Just to show him who really runs the show here."

Growing up, Ty and I had always been close. And although I was held hostage for a good decade or so, I still remembered how I would push his buttons by questioning his authority. That thing rubbed him the wrong way, but he always knew it somehow traced back to me one way or another. That was what was so great about our friendship - we could practically read each others minds.

I smirked as I sat back on the couch. I was going to go to school tomorrow, but I was also going to keep my promise. I was going to do everything in my power to infuriate him, just for him to realize I had shown back up.

Part of me was worried at the prospect of him not caring about me. Of him not remembering me the way I remember him. The possibility of him forgetting I ever existed, and only thinking of me as a childhood friend. One that left early on and never bothered to return.

But another part of me, along with my wolf, Sarah, said otherwise. He would remember us, we had grown up with him. He would have held on to the fact that I disappeared and that it wouldn't be easy for me to get back. That when he realized I was living among his pack, he would welcome me with open arms.

There was only one way to find out - attend the werewolf school tomorrow. Still, to this day, I had remembered what it was. As a young pup I had always looked up to the older kids that attended there. Strong and courageous, each was devoted to serving for the better of the pack. From the stories I had recently heard, though, a lot had changed.

And now, I was going to face my future head on.

And I was going to do it proudly.

Because I am a Gamma's daughter, and no one:

I repeat, NO ONE,

messes with Me.
