(Hello again fellow viewers.....Tonight we have a special presentation for you. It will shock you, it will scare you, it will HORRIFY you!! You've been warned. *I DON'T OWN PERCY JACKSON OR THE SERIES*)

Percy's POV:

After my vision that night, I was restless. I couldn't focus on anything else but Hera's plan. It was literally driving me insane! Though there was always that little thing that kept me grounded: Annabeth. So I decided to see her at camp. I rode a bus that rode near Half-Blood Hill. As I climbed past Thalia's Pine, I couldn't help but stare at the amazing view.

I could see all of the cabins, new and old, in the Omega shape. I could see the climbing wall spew lava while campers scaled the mountain. I saw the forest containing vicious monsters, with Zeus' Fist outstanding the tall trees. And I could see campers paddling away on the Canoe Lake. I just couldn't help but stare in amazement.

I headed down the hill and went straight to the Athena Cabin. I knocked on the door and the most beautiful girl with curly blonde hair and striking grey eyes. "Hey Percy!" Annabeth gleamed. She hopped down and engulfed me in a hug. She released me and looked up," So what's up?"

"I just wanted to see my girlfriend? Anything wrong with that?" I answered. I saw Annabeth blush, and I couldn't help but smile. "Do you want to take a walk? Maybe go explore in the forest? Maybe do something on Zeus' Fist?" I asked. Annabeth brightened up and said," Alright Seaweed Brain. Let's go!" I took her hand and laced it into mine, and headed to the forest.

We walked for a little bit, pasting the Dryads and Satyrs. We wandered around making small talk. We talked about school, and made plans for Winter Break. When we reached Zeus' Fist, Annabeth broke the silence," I have to go to my dad on Christmas." I couldn't help but feel my heart fall into my stomach. "Why though?" I questioned. Annabeth looked at the grass," Well you know how I didn't go see my dad in the fall? Well, I had to promise him that I would visit for the holidays."

There was a long, awkward silence in the air. I couldn't create any words at all. I was just shocked that she tells me now, right before winter break starts. Time passed, with a big gap of conversation. Then, there was a loud roar. Annabeth and I turned, and spotted a monster-shaped silhouette. Light reflected off of it that gave it a bronze shine. And it shot white flames into the sky.

Only one thought was in my mind: RUN!!! I took Annabeth's hand and we sprinted for our lives. I kept looking back to try to spot the monster. It seemed to give off sounds of....gears? And it seemed to burn the forest trees. I could tell that the Dryads were not happy with this at all. I heaved as I took more steps, and Annabeth and I couldn't help but stop.

I stood my ground and grabbed Riptide. Anabeth stood her ground, daggar in hand. Before the monster attacked, I caught a quick glimpse of it. It was mechanical, that's for sure. It looked like what I thought was a dragon. And it was bronze. I thought it seemed familiar. Just before it attacked, another camper came behind us. It was Jake Mason.

"Go guys! I'll try to tame it!" Jake commanded. I grabbed Annabeth and ran out of the forest. And just before we got out, I heard cries of pain coming from Jake. We walked back to the Athena Cabin and Annabeth turned. "Sorry for telling you now. I didn't have the heart to tell you," she apologized. I sighed," It's okay Annabeth. I can understand." Annabeth shook her head," But I-" I stopped her mid-sentence with a kiss. This kiss was different. It was like an apology plus a lot of lips....

The next day was just depressing. The second I heard about Jake, I rushed towards the infirmary. When I saw him, it was just shocking. Annabeth, Clarisse, Will Solace, and the new camper, Nyssa, surrounded his bed. He was lying still like a statue. And Jake was mummified in a giant body cast. "Oh my gods Jake.....dude, what happened??" I worried. Annabeth turned," You know how Jake came to rescue us. This is what happened to him."

I couldn't help but feel so bad for him. Jake started to stir," Ever since.......Beckendorf died.......that thing.......has been going.....haywire." Nyssa continued," Just like the dragon, all of our inventions started to glitch out. Chariots fell apart, swords aren't sharp enough, even tiny bug killers aim for the campers." Jake finshed," It's like a curse...." Annabeth spoke," The Curse of Cabin 9." Everyone agreed with the name, and left Jake rest.

Jake then started to say something," Percy..." I turned around and sat next to him. "You're probably....wondering why that thing......is familiar...." I nodded, and allowed him to continue," Remember....the fourth....of July...? That's.....the same.....dragon....." All of the memories started to flow back. "Oh, I remember now. So what are you guys going to do about it?" Jake sighed," We'll probably......lay traps....in the forest.....It likes.....motor oil and....Tabasco sauce..." I couldn't help but laugh a bit, finding that funny. "Alright, get some rest man," I nodded. Then I left the infirmary.
