After an hour or so, Chen tried to get me to go back to the apartment, but I wouldn't leave.
"Come on. Love, you need some sleep. Please." He begged.
"No, Chen, I'm not leaving until she wakes up." I said looking at him with a stern glare. He tried to speak, but I gave him one last warning glare and he stopped.
"You know what? I'm sorry, I won't make you leave her." He said before leaning down and kissing me on the top of my head.
"Can I at least buy you something to eat?" He asked. I stood up and smiled.
"Please." I said before standing on my tip toes and kissing him on the lips. He put a hand on my cheek before letting go and walking away.
"Arabelle Mason?" A nurse called. I looked in their direction and saw the nurse I had been talking to before. This time she had a young girl. I walked up to her and smiled at the young girl. She looked to be at least 10 or 11.
"Yes? We can talk now." I said remembering our conversation.
"Good. I would like you to meet Rennae." She said.
"Rennae Mason." She said again. In that moment, I felt my heart skip a beat then stop.
