"And you will always be perfect
You'll always be beautiful
Our hearts will never forget you
You didn't belong here
And it's become so clear
Why heaven called your name
And it just doesn't seem right, was it really your time?
Are we dreaming?
We'll never let go of you
Wish you were here but it's becoming clear
That Earth's just not the place for an angel like you
For an angel like you,"

Hayley's P.O.V.
Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a small deck looking over the beach, and the smell of happiness. I get my own room, as well as Taylor, and the Davis' share a room. Obviously. We just got here and I'm putting some things away, and getting comfortable. The whole place is full of one color; light blue. Taylor obviously loves it.
"Hayley! I'm going for a walk, want to come?" Taylor asks me. "Jeremy and Kat are going to stay and unpack,"
"Sure," I agree flopping out the door next to him in my orange flip flops. We just walk out the back onto a little path and across the street to the sandy beach. It's 7:30 at night so no one is really around. Naturally, I grab Taylor's hand and intertwine my fingers with his. "So why do you like blue so much?" I ask him.
"Have you ever looked up at the sky and just sighed, because you want it to be as beautiful as it is everyday? It being such a light blue that it looks almost white? It's a sign of hope to me. What about you and orange?" he asks me. I stop walking and he looks at me.
"Look at the sunset right now. How the colors are so soft. It reminds me of when sun rises, because no matter what, the sun does what it needs to do. It doesn't let anything bad slow it down," I explain to him. He looks at me and smiles. He leans down to kiss me, and right there in that moment, I find hope. The sunset can't find the colors in us, just our shadows. We look like a cheesy romance movie to be honest..but I don't mind.
"Hayley?" he asks pulling away. "Do you think that you are feeling....better?"
"Taylor Benjamin York, who cares about me?" I ask him with a sarcastically confused look.
"I care and was hoping you were up to eating real people food," Taylor tells me. My stomach starts to feel nauseous and I put my hand on it, taking a deep breath.
"I don't know, Taylor," I tell him guiltily.
"Fine, let's just go back to the condo then," he says turning around and starting to walk. My hand isn't in his anymore.
"Taylor, wait up!" I call running to meet his side.
"I just sort of hoped of we were here you would be like the old Hayley," Taylor says.
"Taylor, can I tell you something?" I ask him, he nods. I never ever wanted to say what I'm about to say, to anyone including me. I don't want to admit this at all. "I'm never going to be able to be that Hayley again. At least not the same way. I wish I could, but too much has happened,"
"Hayles, I don't need you to change. I need you to try and find something to make you happy again," Taylor explains to me.
-----
The next morning I wake up to lots of light blue and I hear someone in the kitchen. I throw on a pair of dark blue short shorts and a spaghetti strap light orange shirt that's ruffled. My short orange hair does it's own thing, and I throw on some make-up and exclude sun block because, well, it's only spring.
"Spongebob!" Jeremy shouts once I walk out of my room."What do you want?"
"A scrambled egg is fine," I tell him.
"There's a little boardwalk down the road just a bit, do you think we should have a go at it?" Kat asks.
"I don't see why not," Taylor says.
Once at the boardwalk, it's a bit crowded, but it could be worse. Taylor kisses my head and takes my hand in his, leading the four of us to a view of the ocean by the mini harbor. We all sit, eight legs dangling off the edge of the wood. "So you've been here before, with your mom?" Jeremy asks me.
"Never. Not once. It didn't know it existed until last summer," I tell them It's true, I've never been here. My mom bought it forever ago and never sold it because she thought it would be great for her future grandchildren.
"Oh," he tells me.
"Hey, do you want to get something for Bliss at a shop?" Kat asks Jeremy. He nods and smiles. "We'll be back, text one of us if you go somewhere," she says. I nod and smile, happy that they are always thinking about their beautiful baby.
"Want to get some coffee?" Taylor asks me. I giggle at his question. He has always loved coffee.
"Sure Mr. Coffee Head!" I tell him. He kisses me after a chuckle and we stand up, heading for coffee. "You're so cute," I tell him randomly while we walk.
"Why?" he asks me.
"Cause of you're obsession with coffee!" I explain.
When we get back to the condo after a couple hours of shopping and looking around, Taylor and Kat are sitting on the couch talking about Bliss and Jeremy is in the bathroom. On the kitchen counter I find a note sitting in an envelope adressed to me, so I open it, a little freaked out about how it got there.
Dear Williams,
I'm watching you always, remember. Having fun on your trip? I had to tell you this, no matter what you were doing, so my bad. The only reason your mother was crying when telling you about poor old Daddy was because she did it. Your father wasn't a 'hero', alright? I wanted you to know that he was murdered by your mother. I told her to do it. I figured we should be honest so I'm telling you. Don't worry! I took care of it! She isn't going to jail! We killed her off so that she wouldn't have to suffer for a life of jail! Don't think you can escape me because of a beach. Chat soon?
