- Polaroid -

I still remember the first time we took a polaroid picture together. You took me out for dinner, and at the restaurant, I giggled at every joke you shared.

It was the last film left, and we argued on who'll get to keep the photo. You were persistent, your eyes twinkled, and it made me your favorite audience. So I decided to let you have it, and you sat there with a victorious smile, filling me with pure bliss.

On the evening of my birthday, you gave me a worn out shoe box, and it made me curious. I demanded to open it, but you insisted and told me, not yet.

As the night grew, I asked if I could finally open the box, and you nodded with a small smile on your face. I happily opened the box, like a toddler in the morning of Christmas Day.

The box was filled with new packs of polaroids, with a little sticky note at the top most pack. In that note, written in your messy scribble, you said:

"Let's keep this love of ours in photographs."
