Can I have a moment,
of genuine happiness.
One that will last,
for more than a day.
One that will not be ruined
by a simple judgement
made by someone close to my heart.
Can I be numb?
to not feel these emotions,
that slowly ruins the life I yearn for.
Can I just have that,
Please?
