You are my 2 am regret.
My 2 am wish.
Back when we were in love,
this was our goof hour.
I would never get tired of your laugh.
The way you crack a joke,
to stop me from falling asleep.
The way you sang
my favorite song horribly,
just to annoy me.
You became the reason why
I fall asleep in class.
And even after you left,
you still kept me up all night.
Not with your voice,
but with the aching memories
you engraved on my heart.
