You're too full of pride that you chose to let go of the girl who stood by your side and fought for you even if you didn't appreciate her.
But now she's happy and contented with the life she earned when you left her. She will thank you for making her realize that she is worth of something much better, that there is someone out there who is willing to sacrifice everything for her.
She will look at you with no feelings at all, and you'll feel like you've been stabbed a million times for giving up on her.
And no matter what you do, no matter what you say, it will not make sense because she was done trying to make you love her as she loved you.
But you didn't.
