- Kiss Marks -
The kiss mark on your cheeks,
gave people a story to tell.
Each story was different,
but none was the truth.
The gossips spread like wildfire,
but none of it was true.
As all those spread, I sat and pondered
why you kept the kiss mark on your cheek
after I gave it.
You would keep it the whole day,
and sometimes I'd nag,
but you wouldn't bother.
And only when you told you loved me,
was when I understood why.
With lovely eyes, you said;
"I will show the world that I am with the girl I truly love, and I am proud of her."
