One look at his eyes and I knew that I was a goner. From then, I knew it was not the usual cliche called love, for it was something else entirely.

His eyes reflected something deeper and darker but it never sickened me; instead I embraced it even more.

You see, his eyes said it all. Everything about him. His whole being as well as his soul and heart were wrapped around with such gloominess he called melancholy.

He was a splash of dark colors and his hue was pure gray, but it didn't matter. The starless night sky such as him had its own beauty and he was a masterpiece worth staring for hours.
