I'm sitting in bed, grasping my side. It hurts worse now. Jack has been gone for 30 minutes looking for Sandy. I'm getting scared, my hands are turning grey and the sand is wrapping itself around my arms. My I needed to try and control it or I'll end up hitting someone like I hit North.
I'm on the verge of tears when Jack flies in with Sandy. Jack looks panicked. Sandy comes to the side of my bed and grabs my hands. He touches the black sand with his golden sand. I'm staring at his face as he concentrates on turning the sand gold. It does for a second and we all smile, but then the sand quickly turns black and hits Sandy in the chest. He flies back and hits my wall.
"Sandy!" Jack and I scream. I get up to run but I can't because of the pain. Jack pushes me down on the mattress and runs over to Sandy. He's alright.
Jack begins whispering to Sandy and Sandy is sending him symbols. I turn my head and look in the mirror and see my throat turn grey. Tears run down my cheeks. Sandy comes over and throws golden sand in my face. A second later I'm asleep.
