Ambiya'S POV:
"Yeah..ok..its alright Aapi..fine..i will see you tomorrow" I disconnected the call and turned around only to come face to face with Azaan
"Hey.What are you doing here?" I asked
"I was going to my room and saw you here.you alright? You seem bit off"He said
"Yeah i am fine.Its just Aapi.She is not coming today."
"Oh!! Its alright Ambiya.She would be here tomorrow atleast.Won't she?"
"Yeah.Did your family came?"
"Oh i am just going to pick them up from airport.You are going to Hafsa's place.Aren't you?" He asked and i nodded.
"Then come i will drop you"
"No i am fine"
"Ambiya its on my way to airport.Come on, don't be formal"
I nodded and muttering a 'thank you' we both walked out of the house.
"So tell me? Why aren't guys allowed in Mehendi function?" He asked while driving
"Do you want to get mehendi on your hands?" I asked, completely amused by his question
"Well no."
"Then what are you supposed to do there? Its a girls function.All the girls would be getting mehendi on their hands."I replied
"Ok.You know i once tried to sneak in my cousin's mehendi function but got caught.And then i was grounded for days" he said and i started laughing
"God that was a major failure." He said and started laughing with me.
We reached and he stopped the car.
"Here you go"
"Yeah"i opened the door and climbed out of the car
"Thanks for the ride"
"You really need to stop thanking me for each and everything"He chuckled and then drove off
I walked in and was attacked by mahra
"Where were you till now? We have so much to do and you are late.We need to decorate terrace, buy cake, get mehendi done and also get ready"
"Sorry! Sadia Maami also needed a bit of help so i stayed there to help her and don't worry its not that late.I will just go and quickly meet Hafsa and then we can bring our plan in action okay?" I assured
"Ok be fast.You know me.I freak out" she sighed.
I nodded and then quickly went to meet Hafsa
"Hey" I said as i walked in her room
"Hey girl.Where were you?" She asked as she stood up and hugged me
"Sorry i was stuck up with few things." I apologized
"Its alright.Where is Asra di?" She asked
"She is coming tomorrow"
"What? Why? She is missing my mehendi function" Hafsa whined
"Yeah.Jiju got stuck up with some work.But cheer up,they will be here tomorrow" I said
"Ok"
"Ok listen.I will just go and help them downstairs.You rest for now because its gonna be very tiring in evening"
She nodded and i walked out not before making her blush
"By the way, Adeel is really very impatient.He can't wait to see you"
