Akashi dragged Setsuna towards the small restaurant at the beach. Setsuna was complaining about how his grip hurts, but he paid her no attention, and only squeezed tighter. Setsuna cried out in pain, but he didn't let go. He dragged her all the way inside the restaurant, causing people to turn their attention to them. He then took her to the back storage where no one was able to disturb them. He pushed her against the wall, pinning her hands at her side. "Look at me in the eye," he ordered. Setsuna did. "Did you seriously think you could just take on three grown men on your own? Do you even realize what you are? You're a girl. You haven't even turned sixteen yet. Why are you always doing such reckless things?!"
"But I took care of it-"
"I DON'T CARE!" Akashi shouted, scaring Setsuna. "That was fucking reckless and dangerous! Don't you dare to it again!"
"B-But-"
"Don't make me repeat myself," Akashi slammed his fist onto the wall next to her head. "You will not do that ever again."
"A-Akashi...you're scaring me," Setsuna started to cry. Tears of fear slowly flooded her eyes. Akashi's eyes widened when he realized what he was doing. What was he doing anyways? Why did he bring her here? Why did he yell at her? Why was he so desperate to keep her from ever taking on three men on her own ever again?
Upon seeing the tears slowly roll down her soft now reddened cheeks, Akashi felt a jabbing pain in his chest. He was hurting her. He hurt her. He immediately let go of her wrist. He already made a red mark on her hand from squeezing so tight. Setsuna brought her two hands to her eyes, trying to wipe away the tears. She's never seen someone yell at her like that. It was scary, so scary. It was scarier than her father, or any other teacher she's ever had. Akashi's hands were shaking now.
"S-Sorry," he said softly. "I shouldn't have yelled at you like that. I just-" What did I want? Akashi questioned. I just wanted to protect her.
"I-I'm sorry," Setsuna sobbed. Akashi's eyes softened in pain. He quickly grabbed her and pulled her in. The red haired boy wrapped his arms around her torso. She was so small, and so soft. She really was just a delicate girl. He remembered his many impressions of her. He refused to believe that she was a weak girl at first, but the more he got to know her, the more he feels that she should be treated like one.
"I'm sorry," Akashi apologized. "I'm so sorry. You weren't at wrong. I was overreacting. I'm sorry." Setsuna just sobbed in his embrace. She lightly nodded, indicating to him that she heard him, and she forgave him. Akashi's guilt was lifted just a little bit. His arms tightened around Setsuna's small body. He placed his head on top of hers. Her scent was sweet, and her hair had a faint aroma similar to apples.
Within five minutes, Setsuna's tears stopped, but she was still sniffling. Akashi only just then realized that his chest was bare, and she was wearing nothing but a bikini. Heat flushed up his face upon realizing the situation. He definitely can't let anyone see them like this. He wants to let her go out of awkwardness but at the same time he can't let her go.
After Setsuna stopped sniffling completely, she pushed Akashi away gently. "Sorry," she said quietly, her voice hoarse, and she was looking down. "We should go back. They'll get worried."
"You shouldn't go back like this. Your eyes are all red," Akashi pointed out. Setsuna covered her eyes with a blush. Akashi sighed. He's the one who caused this, he should be responsible for her. He gently grabbed her hand in his and pulled her. "I'll tell them to play without us. Let's go somewhere else." Setsuna nodded as she followed Akashi. She refused to look up, and she kept her eyes on her hand that was held within Akashi's. His hand was warm and gentle.
