Kuroko passed the ball to Hyuga, who then shot a three pointer. Seirin was in the middle of practice. Right now, no one noticed the inner mess Kuroko was in. His head was spinning from all the thoughts he was thinking. His poker face hid the worry in his eyes. Recently, Akashi has been taking Setsuna out every day. He confessed to her. He is trying to make her his girlfriend. Kuroko trusts Akashi as a responsible man; he honestly does. Despite that, he still fears something might go wrong with their relationship once it starts.

Kuroko doesn't doubt that Akashi will make Setsuna fall for him because he can already see it happening, but Kuroko fears the consequences. If Setsuna and Akashi-kun started to go out, surely their fathers would find out. I don't know about Akashi-kun's father, but Setsuna's father will definitely not take it lightly, Kuroko thought.

"....roko. Kuroko!" Kagami shouted.

"Y-Yes!" Kuroko answered.

"Quit spacing out, we have to hurry and get back to defense!" Kagami scolded him while panting from all that exercise.

"Yes. I am sorry about that," Kuroko apologizes and runs after Kagami to defend their own goal.

"It's rare for you to space out like that. Is something on your mind?" Kagami asked.

"No. It's nothing," Kuroko answered. Kagami nodded, buying into Kuroko's lie. Just as the light blue haired boy started running down the court, an idea struck him, and a small smile played at his lips.

"Wow, I can't believe we saw everything I wanted to see," Setsuna exclaimed as she stared at the brochure. Her eyebrows furrowed. Today was Thursday, and nothing else really interests her anymore. There's no point in going to this festival anymore. "Is there anything you're interested in?" she asked Akashi.

"Yeah," he replied.

"Really? What is it?" she asked curiously.

"You."

Setsuna blushed. Was he always this flirty? she thought. She averted her ice blue eyes from him. Her heart started to pound in a strange rhythm. She was now trying to control her breathing. Akashi noticed her flushed face and her eyes that trailed away from him. He smirked.

"Let's go somewhere else today then," Akashi suggested. "Is there anywhere you'd like to go?" Setsuna looked down at the floor, suddenly taking strong interest in it. She muttered something softly. Akashi leaned over to her face. She shrieked and flinched back, but Akashi only brought his face closer. "If you don't tell me properly I wouldn't know."

"B-Basketball court," Setsuna finally said in a semi-louder volume. Akashi smiled satisfactorily.

"Then let's go there," he said. Akashi and Setsuna then headed towards her neighborhood basketball court. It's empty at the moment. Setsuna grabbed a basketball and immediately challenged Akashi to a one on one. Akashi agreed. Since he was away from school, he might as well get some practice in before he goes back. Akashi took off his jacket and set it aside along with Setsuna's school bag and blazer.

She started with the ball. "I'm going to go all out. You can't hold back either," she told him.

"I understand," Akashi replied. Setsuna started to dribble. She first feinted a left and then went right, but Akashi saw through her, so she immediately did a double crossover under her legs and turned back to the left, only to realize the ball was taken from her hands once she passed Akashi. She turned around, only to see Akashi score.

"W-Wow," she admired.

"You can't possible expect to get past me with that kind of trick, Setsuna," Akashi taunted. Setsuna smiled. She knew he was tough. There hasn't been a single time Himura won against Rakuzan. She thought he was scary on a team, but he's much scarier alone. She realized his eyes has lost all of its gentleness. She can only see aggression at the moment. Akashi is a true competitive player. He won't allow anyone to win him, even if it's the woman he loves. That made Setsuna smile. She's so happy she couldn't keep it in. She loved strong players. She loved being a challenger. As strange as it may sound, she loves being on the losing side more than the winning side. She loves to experience this kind of thrill.
