" A Love to Remember "

Idinilat ko ang mga mata ko and a smile formed on my face upon seeing Mama's sleeping figure right beside me, gagalaw pa sana ako but I felt a heavy hand on top of me--- hindi lang pala sakin, hanggang kay Mommy nakapatong ang kamay na iyon ni Daddy who's sleeping behind me. Pinagigitnaan nila akong dalawa, how sweet.

Waking up seeing this is much amusing compared to me, imagining the thought of having a library, way bigger than National Bookstore. Hindi mapapantayan ng kung ano ma'ng materyal na bagay ang mga taong mahal ko sa buhay, these people are my life and source of happiness.

"Gising ka na pala.." I was taken back to reality when Mama spoke in a groggy voice, smiling at me, "Good morning!" she added as she leaned closer and gave me small kiss on my forehead, making me smile even more.

Mama's tummy is bulging, she's on her fifth month of pregnancy kaya hindi pa naman masyadong malaki. I always try my best not to move clumsy when I'm sleeping right beside her at baka matamaan ko siya bigla, mabuti na lang talaga at hindi ako malikot kung matulog..

"Good morning too, Ma." I greeted back, "Ang bigat ng braso ni Daddy, don't you find it heavy?" dagdag ko pa while grinning.

Mahina namang natawa si Mama dahil dun, "Not at all, nasanay na ako eh. Just take his hands off if you want to or, I'll wake him up for you?"

Kaagad naman akong umiling, Daddy's arms might be quite heavy but I'm loving this position of ours so..

"No need na Ma, Dad's obviously tired and, I can manage." magiliw na sagot ko at kumindat pa, Mama's about to answer but a manly and a hoarse voice spoke from behind kaya sabay naman kaming napalinong  ni Mama dito.

"Ke aga-aga, pinagchichismisan niyo ako." it was Dad who's now awake, frowning at us, making me and Mama giggle in chorus.

"That's not chismis Dad, it's true kaya, you have heavy arms because you're fat." I replied frankly, making him frown even more.

"Bully and because of that, I'll tickle you young lady as a punishment." he exclaimed.

"Unfortunately, you can't. Sige ka, pag kiniliti mo ako, I'll move non stop so baka matamaan ko si Mama, lagot ka pagnagka-taon Dad!" I said and stuck my tongue out to annoy him.

Mahina namang natawa si Mama as she extended her arms up-to Dad and hugged us both tightly, "Too early to deal with your childishness. Let's stay like this for awhile.."

"Naglalambing si babes, bago 'to ah!" he teased, may idadagdag pa sana siya but Mama glared at him so instead, he too, extended his other amrs just like what Mama did and hugged us both.

"I love you.."

"Let's go outside? Parating na daw iyong Mama mo, tapos na ang taping nila." Dad told me and upon hearing that, my face lightened up. Finally, I'll get to see Mama again after hours!
