"Reaper."

"Shhhhh...Enjoy the sound of my beautiful voice."

"REAPER. WHY DO I HEAR BURNING?

"The scary sharp metallic sticks used cutting won't hurt you anymore."

"REAPER."

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Focus on my voi-"

Geno's bony fingers dug into Reaper's palms, which were currently over his eye-sockets. Reaper's grip was firm, but Geno felt the god make a soft hissing noise to his attempts. "Geno, that hurts."

"LET ME SEE DAMN IT."

A small pause disconnected the flow of the conversation, the crackling of flames ensuring that something was ablaze.
"Nah. Maybe you should just relax and stay with me."

"SERIOUSLY REAPER, SOMETHING IS ON FIRE."

"Aren't you used to the heat since I'm just so hot?"

Geno snorted. "YEAH, SURE. LET'S JUST BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE."

Reaper let out a soft chuckle. Pressure was set on top of Geno's skull, informing the skeleton that the god was resting his chin on his head. "I'm hurt, Geno."

"Pfft. Here, have a band-aid, constructed of the finest carbon dioxide and oxygen." Geno reached up to where Reaper's face would have been at and patted it.

"With a hint of smoke." Reaper added.

"Yeah, wonder where the smoke is coming from.  OH WAIT. MAYBE FROM THE RAGING FIRE WHICH YOU AREN'T LETTING ME SEE!"

"Maybe, but I think it's because I'm too smoking hot."

Geno's hands transformed into fists, batting at the god behind him. "Shut up, this is serious."

"But I am serious. I mean, this is an issue. What if I burn so much that the world explodes?"

"Oh my f*cking god, Reaper. Shut up." Geno was trying his best not to smile.

"Think about it. I'll be the new sun."

"If you were the new sun, I'd want to go back underground."

"Wow. I might need more air band-aids for that burn."

More incoherent noises of laughter came from Geno as he tried prying Reaper's hands off of his face. "Okay, okay. I won't look at the fire if you let me go."

"Hmmm...I'm not sure if I should. It might be too bright from my radiant presence."

Geno lightly jabbed his elbow into Reaper's ribs, laughing. "Oh my god, I'm being serious!"

With a final snicker, light flooded into Geno's vision. He gazed over the dancing flames, staring at them.
Suddenly, darkness consumed his sight.

"You said you wouldn't look at the fire~."  Reaper cooed, his hands over Geno's eyes once more.

The smaller grumbled as he lifted Reaper's hands off of his face. Then, he turned around to face the other, his arms crossed. "Why don't you want me to see the fire?"

"What fire?"

Geno spun around to find that the flames had vanished. "...Reaper."

"What?"

"I..." Geno sighed. "I can't stand you."

"I can't stand anywhere near you since I'm constantly falling for you."

Geno gave Reaper a look. His face was lightly dusted with a shade of blue as he averted eye-contact with the other. "Pfft. I- wow- that's-"

Reaper laughed. "I know you're speechless at my amazing skills."

Geno was just smiling stupidly, staring down at his slippers. He fumbled with scarf as he kept silent. Reaper let out a quiet sigh as he wrapped his arms around Geno and lifted him into the air. "You're so cute."

"I'm not cute. I'm fabulous." Geno corrected, making a motion similar to hair-flipping.

"Did you just hair-flip?"

Geno smirked as he stared into Reaper's eye-sockets. "Maybe."
