You look at all the tests you took.

Two lines?

A plus sign?

The two were different words but with the same meaning.

Positive.

You began to cry while you touch your belly.

How would you tell him?

You are just in your early 20s, you are still young. You're about to graduate college.

And him, he has a career. You know this is not part of his plan yet.

He might not want this child. He might leave you if he finds out.

You think you and the baby would probably ruin him and his career.

You suddenly hear a knock on the bathroom door and soft call, "(Y/N)? Are you there?"

"Yeah?" You tried to sound normal as much as possible so he won't suspect that you're crying.

"I'm about to go now," he says.

"Okay, I'll be out in a minute." You wipe your tears from your eye and fixed yourself. You threw the pregnancy test to the trash bin and composed yourself.

You breathe, opening the door to see Louis waiting for you.

He smiled when he sees you and you smiled back, weakly.

But his smile drops when he sees that there is something different.

"Is there something wrong, love?" He asks concerned.

"No no," you lied.

"Then is there something bothering you?" He asks again. He really knows if there's something up.

"No," you shook your head, "maybe it's just stress since I'm graduating soon." You reason out.

"Okay okay." He smiled, "I'll be back later tonight."

You nod and he gave you a peck on the lips.

He was about to go when you grab him.

He turned to you, "Louis... I.." you start to speak. Trying so hard to tell him about what you're really dealing with.

He's just silent but with a questioning look.

"I... love you, so much." You speak out, trying not to cry in front of him. You just can't tell him. Fear is eating you.

He smiles, "I love you too. Forever and always." He presses his lips on yours, this time longer.

You savoured the moment, wishing it'll never stop.

He pulls away, caressing your cheek. You savoured his touch once again, and he continued to leave.

The door closes, and that's the time where you really breakdown.

You went to your bedroom, grabbing your suitcase and piling your clothes in.

You look at the picture frame at the top of the nightstand. The picture was taken when it was your first date as a couple, you were happy back then.

You grab it and put it in your suitcase, this is the only thing that will remind you of Louis.

After packing, you wrote a note to Louis.

Dear Louis,

By the time you read this, I'm probably not here anymore. I'm sorry I never got to tell you why I left. There's just something that I couldn't tell you, and I think this is for the best.

I swear in my whole life, you did nothing wrong. Because of you, I felt the love and care you gave to me. You truly loved me for who I am, and I thank you for that.

I'm sorry that I won't be the one you'll be with for lifetime. I'm sorry that I broke the promise.

As my last wish, don't ever try to find me. Instead, find someone that will treat and love you more than I did. I know there's someone that will love you just like you loved me. You deserve to be happy.

Just always remember that I love you with all my heart.

Goodbye.

Sincerely yours,
(Y/N)

There was a teardrop from your eye that fell to the paper, and you neatly fold it, placing it on the night stand.

Grabbing your suitcase, you look at the house one last time, the place that are filled with memories with him.

"I'm sorry for doing this baby," you cried to your unborn child inside, placing your hand on your belly, "but we will be okay."

You don't know what will happen to your future, but you just thought this is the right way: to never tell him and never see him again.
