"Alright, I'm coming!" You hastily grabbed your things and sped to the front door when you heard the doorbell ring successively.

You locked your house's door and turned to look up at the eighteen year old boy, "could you not wait?" You complained.

"I just like teasing you, lil kiddo." He smiles.

"I told you so many times, Louis. I'm fifteen already and not a kid anymore. " You roll your eyes.

He chuckled, "Whatever you say, buttercup." He opens the car door for you and you get in.

This has been your daily routine since Louis started to basically become like your babysitter. Your parents have been a long time good friends with Louis' parents and have seen him grow up. They've always known the kid has a great and respectful personality. So they didn't think twice to ask Louis a favor to look out for you when they started to become very busy and were always away for work. You tried to convince them that you could handle yourself and that they shouldn't worry about you, but they said you're still young to be leff alone and you don't know how to handle things like doing laundry, buying some grocery, cooking your own food and the likes. Louis didn't have a problem with your parent's favor though.

He stays at your house when your parents doesn't come home even if his house is just like two blocks away. He always makes sure you're safe and home before sunset. When you need help with something, he helps. If it's about homework, well... he tries. Every now and then, he continues to annoy you. He's becoming like your mom.

"Wait for me at the gate after your class is done, alright? Don't ever leave the campus without me." He lectures as you both get out of the car.

"Yeah, mom. I know." You sarcastically replied.

"Alright. See you around." He ruffles your hair.

"Hey!" Before you could do something, he immediately runs away and shout, "text me when you need anything, Buttercup!"

You roll your eyes as you sling your backpack over your shoulder, "stupid pet name." You muttered shaking your head, but letting out a small smile on your lips after.

That has always been your nickname for Louis since he knew your admiration for Buttercup of Powerpuff Girls when you were 7. Thinking about it really sounds corny but you're used to it anyways.

You went through your day, trying to catch up with the lessons, and hanging out with some friends. You haven't seen Louis throughout the day with his friends in the campus like the usual, you wondered why.

You made your way towards the gate then you saw a familiar car stopped in front and the window rolled down.

"See you tomorrow." You wave to your friends as you walk over to the passenger seat.

"What took you so long..?" Your voice faded as you open the car door, only to reveal that it is already occupied.

Realizing who's occupied the seat, your mouth twisted into a grimace.

Now you know why he was nowhere to be found and late.

You frowned once while you open the back door since you figured out that you'll be sitting there once again.

"Well, hello buttercup." Hearing her call you the nickname Louis gave you made you want to just throw yourself out of the window or maybe just throw her instead. You prefer the latter.

"Hi, Lucy." You faked a smile, "it seems like you're back together, again." You cross your arms, trying to hide the saltiness in your voice.

His oh-so-innocent-looking-yet-cheating girlfriend's laugh (which you always find annoying along with her voice) echoed, "yeah. I'm glad to be back and I missed hanging around with you guys."
