Mutual Understanding pt. 2

"Are you alright?" Liam come to support you on your shoulders.

What kind of question of that? Obviously, you aren't.

Suddenly your eyes met with his.

"I need to go." You say breaking the contact, seeing the boys' sympathetic looks.

They know you wanted to be alone so they let you be.

Every step you take, your heart broke into tiny pieces.

It stings, knowing that you love him so much now.

You're jealous, so jealous, but you've got no right to be.

After all, he was never yours to begin with. That's what hurts the most.

"(Y/N)!"

No, no, no.

He's the last person you wanted to chase you.

You started to walk faster then came to the point that you were running, running wherever your feet take you. Might sound dramatic, but you just want to get away from him.

But he caught up with you, grabbing you by the arm and making you spin around to see him.

"(Y/N)..." his voice was full of pity and it broke you more. You started to cry in front of him. "Let me explain. She wasn't-"

"L-Louis," you gently say in between sobs, "theres n-nothing to explain."

"We're not even couple to begin with, so I don't have the right to be jealous, no right to own you. All we had is a fling and I understand."

You smile through the pain, "Congratulations. I hope you're happy." You ended and tried to remove his arms but he just wouldn't budge.

He looks at you like you're a fragile object, which you practically are at this moment.

Your sobs were the only sound breaking the silence and after a few seconds, he dragged you back to where you were.

"Louis," you know he heard it but he didn't respond. You can't get away from his grip because he's too strong compared to you.

The crowd's attention went onto you both when he pulled you towards the center and stole the microphone from a man.

He finally let go of you and gently taps the mic, "Hello everyone," he say through it. The people are very confused, and you are too.

"I know you're wondering what I am doing but I just wanted to let you all know that this woman right here," he wrapped his arms around your waist, "is the only one that I love."

Gasps were heard from everywhere, and you look at him like he's crazy. He just continued, "I never got to tell her that. I was weak and scared, so we only had an attachment with no commitment."

He searched for your eyes, "but I realized I was more scared of losing her. Call me lame but this is true. So let's settle this for real," he holds your hand.

"I love you so much (Y/N) and let's make our relationship official. Will you be my girlfriend?"

He made a public confession and you're happy as ever. The previous tears were changed into happy ones.

You nod, not being able to speak because of joy.

You expected the people will say some negative things, but it's the total opposite, they were rooting for you.

You didn't think twice to hug him, and he hugged you back.

"Kiss!!!!" The boys are leading the chant but you could hear Niall's voice overpowering.

You laugh and you see Louis leaning closer to you. He gave a kiss on the forehead, to your nose, to your cheeks, then finally your lips. You found it very sweet.

You smile lovingly at each other.

"My ship has sailed!" You hear Niall say being the big shipper that he is, making you and Louis laugh.
