Short authors note
Ok guys I'm really sorry for the late chapter, I've been experiencing a bit of a writers block. I'm pretty much over it and plan to continue this story again. I'm not sure if I want to make this into a longer story or end it after I wrap it up in a couple chapters. Please comment what you would prefer!

Nicks POV

I remember some of what happened the day I came to this house, however everything after sensing my mate is gone. After they tranquilized me they gave me a drug that would make me forget about what happened. If it hadn't been for the crazy head ache I had I would have thought my drowsyness was my imagination.

"I can't remember what happened after I sensed my mate, the tranquilizers gave me a head ache and they drugged me so I wouldn't remember what happened. I'm sorry Lilly." I say this only to hear Lilly's low whine.

"You would remember if I gave you some of my blood right?" He asks me.

"Yes, but it would be from your point of view and I would also gain memories other than that." Lilly shuffled on his feet before approaching me.

"Then I want you to remember, even if it's different."

We just looked at each other for a moment before I sighed and pulled his wrist to my lips "it will sting for a moment."

As my fangs punctured his soft white skin he winced but slowly relaxed. Memories of being beaten, of being thrown off a cliff, playing in the forest, and being locked in a cage only to be saved came rushing and pouring into my head. I saw myself. Lilly had been watching us all this time. He never got close to us but he always checked up on what we were doing. We each broke him by forgetting everything.

All the emotions he felt, I now felt too. The over powering loneliness and sadness controlling everything. I don't know how he survived.

Then these murky memories came. They were clouded in a dark veil. I couldn't see clearly.

Suddenly I'm pulled back to reality.

I lick the wound I made on Lilly and it heals instantly.

"Did you see it?"

"Yea, let's just say I saw a lot." I say before hugging Lilly.

"You guys aren't gonna forget again right?" Lilly whispers.

Lilly's POV

"Of course not kitten. We promise." Derek says obviously trying to comfort me.

Ricky pulls me out of nicks grip and into one of his own hugs. "I'm so sorry." He mumbles in my hair.

Tears begin to blur my vision and I close my eyes. Without warning Derek and Nick close around us.

Something stops me from being engrossed in the moment. A smell. A very familiar yet strange scent.

I turn my head both directions to see that no one is around. Not even the pack members.

I push Ricky away, effectively pushing my other mates as well.

"What's wrong?" Ricky asks.

"I think something's wrong. Where are the pack members, and what's that smell?" I am getting this odd feeling.

"What are you talking about Lilly? What smell?" Nick asks ignoring my question about the pack.

"That smell of rotten milk. It smells kind of familiar." I say.

Out of no where there is a high pitched scream, it sounded like a wolf at first then human. Derek and Nick grabbed both me and Lilly shoving is behind themselves.
