Why do people feel the need to impregnate dead women? I can't be the only one who notices how many weird ass theories there are about girls who have died being pregnant.

If we're sticking to Harry Potter, then there's the Lily theory. I'm pretty sure JK said this is false, then again I could be wrong since apparently she loves giving us too much unnecessary information.

You've heard the Lily theory; the one that claims she was pregnant with her second child, a girl, when Voldemort killed her. Let me tell you why that's bullshit. Even though apparently women are very fertile after just giving birth? I'm pretty sure that James and Lily wouldn't want to raise another child while there is a war going on. I mean, we've never been informed that Harry was an accident but it's likely.

Also, the actual reason I'm writing this; there's a fucking theory that Lavender was pregnant. Yeah, the dead girl, was apparently pregnant with Ron's baby when she died??? I mean it isn't statistically impossible but I'd like to know what the need is to make these theories.
