"You say you care about me, but I don't ever see it. If you can put your name behind such a claim, you should be able to back it up with your actions." Her voice shook.

"I can't explain." He shrugged looking down.

"I know you can't, you never could!"

"Well, how am I supposed to explain that every time you get near me, I fall in love all over again, or that when you walk into a room, I tense up and can barely move, or that every time you speak to me, my heart skips a beat, and I swear for a moment that it stops! And that smile of yours, oh my gosh, that smile of yours is by far the most beautiful thing that my eyes have ever seen, and that it's so beautiful, sometimes I can't help but stare! Don't even get me started on your laugh. That laugh is my favorite song to hear, and every time I hear it, everything that's wrong in this world disappears for a moment. That laugh could save people from a burning building if needed! So, my goodness, yes, I do care about you, and I care about you so much that sometimes I get caught up in it and forget to show you!"
