10 Things Being Emotionally Abused for the Better Part of 6 Years Has Taught Me:

1. There are genuine people in this world, I promise you, it's just a matter of finding them.

2. You are strong.

3. That mental illnesses are real, you can't hide them or act like they don't exist.

4. People will still love you after this.

5. Your baggage will not drive people away.

6. You will apologize a lot, and people will get annoyed, stay away from those people.

7. YOU ARE STRONG.

8. You will feel like a different person coming back from this, you want that. You want to feel different because you're better and stronger now.

9. You're going to want to self distruct. Don't. Don't do it. I love you. Let people near you even if it is hard.

10. YOU CAME BACK FROM HELL AND SURE IT MAY NOT SEEM LIKE IT BUT YOU ARE SMILING! YOU ARE SMILING AFTER YOU'VE SHAKEN HANDS WITH SATAN HIMSELF, AND IF YOU DON'T THINK THAT'S A FREAKING ACCOMPLISHMENT, LEARN TO ACCEPT IT AS ONE BECAUSE YOU'RE STILL BREATHING AND YOUR HEART IS STILL BEATIING. THE FLAMES DIDN'T BURN YOU, AND THE DEVIL DIDN'T KILL YOU, ALRIGHT?

*Bonus: I love you. Stay strong, I get what you're going through, if you ever need to talk, I'm your girl ❤
